“Very clean and nice rooms. The staff is exceptional and will go out of their way for you. The location is great since everything you need is right around the corner. Great Hotel.”

• Hotel was dirty and smelled. I had a prepaid reservation and was charged twice!

“This hotel should not have a three star rating! I am not sure who gave it but it would barely make a two. I travel frequently to Lexington (several times a year). I would advise avoiding this hotel at all costs. I had a prepaid room and I showed the clerk, even though I checked out with a zero balance they went back three days later and charged my credit card! The entire place was dirty and run down, the sevice was awful and our room smelled really bad.”

• Very clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, indoor pool and hot tub.
• Although my room was handicap accessible, it didn't have a vanity in the room which would have been helpful in my situation.

“The hotel is beautiful and has many amenities on site. The restaurant was nice and it's right off of New Circle rd. in Lexington and I-75 which made it very easy to get anywhere in Lexington. The room was spacious with a microwave and a refrigerator. The staff was excellent.”

• Free internet.
• Shabby. Only room avail was smoking, made us sick, peeling paint, musty, door difficult to close.

“Do not stay in this hotel if you don't want to stay in a smoking room. Needs redecorating, exterior paint to hotel at doorways was dirty, badly chipped. Sidewalks cracked and dangerous. ”

• The pool, sauna, and whirlpool worked.
• Our room wasn't real clean...crumbs on the floor.

“We were without electricity for 1 hour. Called office, went to the pool and when we got back it still wasn't on. After a second call they came right away. I wasn't very happy, because I needed to use the hairdryer and had not time after he finally came. Richard forgot to tell the receptionist when we checked out that this was not a good experience.”

• Was close to I-75.
• Hallways full of cigarette smoke, no roll-a-ways left, staff unfriendly.

“The hotel is a run down. There was no ventilation in the hallways to get rid of cigarette smoke. They ran out of rollaway beds on one day. Their charge was $25 for a rollaway, if available, from a woman desk clerk. From the man desk clerk, the rollaway was $10. Restaurant personnel attached to hotel were not friendly either. We were basically pushed into the Bar/Grill from the restaurant personnel. Very disappointed in this Holiday Inn. So disgusted, I left Sunday morning at 3:00am., after my 4 yr. old son fell off the bed and hit his head on the end table.”

• Comfortable beds! Large hotel with lots of amenities and easy access to entrances.
• Small towels, no light bulbs at bedside, short-staffed at check-in.

“The evening was quiet and the beds comfortable. Lighting was poor to non-existent and staff did not enforce the rule about parents accompanying children in the game room. We were nearly run over by running children. Otherwise, facilities were nice.”

• It was quiet and the staff were very friendly. Room service was excellent.
• The room I was in was not as nice as I thought it would be, bathroom door would not shut, did not have memory foam mattresses.

“Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. As I have stayed at this hotel before I know that most of their rooms are very nice, and it was an exception that the one I stayed in wasn't great. The staff is great and room service great. It's a quiet hotel with free internet access. Overall, great experience.”

• Shower had great water pressure.
• Had group on teens down the hall were loud and unruly.

• The hallway carpeting needs to be cleaned and replaced. The outside doors were dirty and landscaping is lacking.

“The room was clean and nice, however, one has to go through dirty doors, old landscaping and carpet that needs to be replaced to get to the room. The parking lot needs to be cleaned and either repaved or coated and lined. I was afraid that the rooms would be dirty because the impression received going from the office to the room.”

• This hotel had a large pool area with a large hot tub and gaming area.
• It was quite a maze to find the way from our room to the pool area.

“We really had a great time at this hotel. The only bad thing was that it was a maze to find our way around the hotel. Great location right off the interstate. Not a lot of restaraunts near the hotel.”

• This place stunk. One day they did not clean our room. Old and smelled.

“The beds were nice but the carpet was torn, the toilet paper holder was so rusty it would almost cut you if touched. The bath tub had been resurfaced and was coming off. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and side door we entered through was nasty. I could go on but to say the least I am not happy. ”
