• The pillows were nice.
• Just didn't feel like a 4 star hotel.

“Functional hotel for business travelers. Walking distance to downtown attractions but not really in the center of everything. Definitely do not mistake this for a Westin or Pan Pacific -the Delta Suites aren't nearly as nice. It's fine for a business trip but not that great for a weekend getaway.”

• The room was large and clean.
• It would have been nice to have a king size bed - there was room for it.

“Very spacious room with a large bathroom. Clean with easy access. Very friendly staff. Close to the waterfront and public transportation. Only negative: we were on the 4th floor and the disco beat from the club downstairs could be heard in our room - this would be a problem for a light sleeper but it was not a real problem for me.”

• Proximity to important city sites and attractions.
• The front desk (reception area).

“We had a wonderful time in Vancouver visiting many and different sites. Because of the hotel's proximity to many of these sites or the means of transportation to these sites, the vacation was more successful. The queen-size bed was very comfortable and that's coming from someone who has a very comfortable bed at home also.”

• They gave us free champagne and strawberries for my anniversary.
• No free parking.

“The hotel was fine. It was clean and decorated nicely. It just wasnt the extravagant 5 year wedding anniversary room I as hoping for. I had already stayed at this hotel in the past. I would have chosen a different hotel if I had a choice.”

• This hotel is centrally located in downtown Vancouver and perfect for business trips.
• Rooms are not well insulated (sound) and you can hear bathroom noises from next door starting 5 AM. moreover, the room we got had no view.

“Delta Vancouver Suites is an excellent hotel to stay if you are on business trip or taking a cruise and need to stay for 1 night. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious with comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly and courteous and always greets you with a smile. We went to Vancouver for our honeymoon and staff brought us champagne and strawberries after we checked-in, it was really nice. Moreover, the rooms are not well insulated for sound. Every morning at 5 AM we woke up to the noise of bathroom / shower next door to us, very annoying if you are trying to relax. As I said earlier, this is a perfect hotel for business trip or 1 knighted stay for cruise, definitely not for extended vacation stay.”

• The staff were most helpful and courteous.
• The bed was 4 star, the rest of the room was not.

“The hotel was lovely, but the room was lacking. The bed was 4 star; a comfy duvet instead of bedspread and nice pillows, however the rest of the room was 3 star.”

• Great location, comfortable room and professional staff.
• There was a little noise going on because of nearby construction, but that was not controllable by hotel.

“I recently stayed at the Delta Suites in Vancouver, BC. The hotel staff was very accommodating from the time I arrived to the time I left. The room was my favorite part of the hotel because they have "black out" curtains that make the room look very dark. The bed was very comfortable and I felt like I could sleep all day. I think this hotel is in the best location in Vancouver. There are so many great restaurants, bars, and nightclubs nearby. The Sky Train is a few blocks away and Robson street is a short 5 minute walk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Reception staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful.
• No pool or spa.

“You'll be pleased to stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were, the views were great and most of all, and the staff was smiling and nice.”

• Good clean rooms, comfortable beds.
• Charge for Internet Access.

“I was extremely happy with this hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did a wonderful job in keeping the place clean and fresh. I would recommend Delta Suites (Vancouver) to all my friends.”

• It was accurately described and had overall clean appearance.
• The update/renovations in rooms not complete i.e. bathroom.

• Helpful and friendly staff.
• No shuttle to/from the airport, though most in the area do not and everything about the hotel made up for the expense of the cab ride from the airport.

“This hotel had amazing service, a friendly staff, and is in a great location. The room was in excellent condition. We had a great experience overall and would definitely come back. Our luggage did not make it on our arrival to Vancouver and the hotel immediately gave us complimentary toiletries and a warm cookie at checking.”

• Location and the room.
• Phoned for dinner but no body get back to me.

“I have never seen hotel that you call for dinner and tell you we will call you back to take your order but no body came back.”

• The staff were all friendly and offered to help without us having to ask.
• Our room had a queen bed and we prefer a King.

“Great location two blocks from Pacific Centre Mall and one block from the Sky train and Sea bus terminal. Our room was very clean and was well insulated from the sound of traffic and other rooms. Many room types here offer a king bed but our basic suite had a queen. The staff went out of their way to offer help even when we did not ask. Don't worry about the street people if you venture out during the weekday business hours. I saw only a couple of unkempt individuals that were just walking along but the vast majority of the people I saw were workers walking to or from work. Check out the cookies and coffee at Cookies of Course across the street in the Harbor Centre building.”

• Location good, atmosphere good, hospitality great.
• Toilet in room had to be repaired, stench of smoke in the room.

“This was my first time in this hotel. The Delta Suites satisfied my needs for business. It is central to Downtwon Vancouver, is very well kept, with beautiful rooms. Beyond all of this, the hospitality provided this hotel's staff goes above any other four star hotel that have stayed in.”

• Lack of parking.

“Beautiful hotel with a decent location. The fitness centre was ample although it was rarely used. Valet was almost the only option regarding overnight parking - the other packages didn't look too safe.”

• Room layout, each compartmentalized space is too cramped and not relaxing. Next-door shower was very noisy.

“There is neither a hotel gift shop nor a hotel parking facility (public parking across the alley). The room was small, the queen size bed was small, TVs were small and old, and bathroom/shower noises from next-door was way too noisy.”
