“I was not so happy about the hotel very rooms are hot air conditioning doesn't have control from inside working all day without any control from inside, no breakfast served no frig inside so far I am not happy with that hotel and I did leave the hotel from the second day without finishing my stay time there now I learned the lesson I won't be next time.”

“Days Inn on Kingsway's is a good, basic travelers motel - perfectly acceptable. Nothing fancy except the immaculately tended courtyard between the interior-facing room entrance doors. Parking lot has large theft warnings, but video at front desk monitors parking lots. McDonalds next door as well as many Chinese and Indian restaurants. Kingsway is a very busy street, but motel is pretty quiet and entry/exit was easy. Good water flow and hot water in the bathroom, although there was no fan for venting. Lots of in-room conveniences like fridge, coffee-maker and microwave. No breakfast room, but McDonalds was ok for breakfast. We labeled the court-yard the "Genesis Cave" (from Star-trek 'the wrath of Khan')”

“Located minutes away from Downtown Vancouver, this hotel offers the luxury of avoiding the city rush while being close to all the action. Hotel staff is very helpful in recommending things to do in the city if you're new in town. Be prepared to have enough credit on you credit card during your stay because the hotel security holds on your credit card will take up to 8 days to clear, which might leave you short of funds.”

“Basic amenities - good value, need a car for this location, very enthusiastic and friendly and helpful staff, breakfast is McDonald's coupon - I didn't use them. Exactly what I needed - not expensive and convenient.”

“This hotel was well maintained and had a very nice courtyard. It was a nice walk (about 15 minutes) from the sky train and only half a block from the bus stop. It is on a busy street and safety was not an issue. The staff was extremely pleasant and thoughtful. I would definitely stay there again.”

“I was extremely disappointed with this transaction. The room was small with poor temp. Control and it was in a bad neighborhood. I feel very dissatisfied with the quality of hotel and location.”

“I would never stay there again. I would rather sleep in my car. Signs everywhere warning about theft. "Dont leave anything in your car" and so on. Ridiculous.”

“This is 'just' on the edge of the burnaby/coquitlam zone and should be classified as Vancouver area. It is not the safest area at all, and I was scared to leave my car overnight. There is a McDonalds next door and is the only food within walking distance. They give you a voucher in the morning for free breakfast from Muds. They don't 'offer' this, you have to know about it and ask for it. Front desk staff never cracks a smile and seem miserable. This is not a wheelchair friendly hotel at all. Stairs are required to get in and out of the hotel, and also to any rooms. There are no wheelchair ramps at all. Makes it awkward for rolling luggage too!”

“Bad location. Rooms were decent - with tea and coffee. It was hard to get to major areas in Vancouver. I felt like I was in shanghai, not Vancouver”

“The room was clean and the hotel was nicely maintained. The wireless internet doesn't serve all rooms, and the staff didn't know what to do about it. I had to change rooms and then had no problems.”

“It¿s so surprising that I¿ve used so many times. And I¿m so disappointed this time¿s was looking for a hotel in Coquitlam/Burnaby area and also checked the relevant areas but I was given the hotel in Vancouver which was almost half an hour drive from the place I had some work in. so, basically I was given hotel in the area where I did not check as an option which is not fair!”

“I am very disappointed. We had our 18month old son with us and the area we were located in was not in the greatest part of town. ”
