“This hotel was a little difficult to find and once you did find it you wish it wasnt the one you were staying at. The Lobby was welcoming, but once you got into the elevator and up to the room there was a weird stench that would not go away. this is a good hotel to consider if you are not going to be spending a lot of time here. Overall the staff was friendly but we were disappointed with the quality of the rooms.”

“Lobby and hallways were a bit shabby, but room was in good condition. Free
WiFi was speedy and easy to access. Everything was great until Friday night, when the club downstairs played dance music until 2
am that could be clearly heard in my 3rd-floor room. Not good when you have a 6
am wake-up.”

“The public spaces need a makeover; a slight smell, unreliable lifts and entry card system. Room was
OK, but it's in the nightlife area so can get noisy at night. Street being under repair doesn't help.”

“Hotel has a bad lift and very bad staircase. Rooms are ok. We had an overall ok exp, but very worried about car cause of parking. We haven't used car much as where ever u go in downtown needs parking. Convenient for all restaurants and had many food choices. Staff is ok. Room maintenance is also ok. Don't expect too much then you can be happy. Internet is ok in 5th floor and worst in 6th floor. If you are a net bug don't goto 6th floor.”

“It’s not a whole bad hotel to stay but you need a little more room in the room to move around and stuff.”

“This hotel had a very dated look, bad smell, and was not very clean. There was trash between the nightstand and the wall, cigarette burns in the tub, no conditioner in the bathroom, bad lighting, very little space, stains on the bedding, and to top it all off, the room next to a night club that was extremely loud! We were not able to sleep on Thursday night.”

“Nice clean room, recently remodeled. The room was very small. Good room if you are only sleeping there. If spending much time in the room it might be annoying. Not a beautiful neighborhood, but we walked back to the hotel after dark and had no problems.”

“This hotel is the best place for a gang of young people (18 - 35), to be in downtown, have a night in the bar and get a low rated night. If you're drunk, you will not remark that there is no noise cancellation in the wall of the hotel. The hotel, smell very bad in the corridor. You will heard young drunk people speak loud during the night and you will probably heard the street noise if you are in a room in the front of the hotel. I probably rate this hotel 310 for a family trip or business trip, but for the price, I will rate it 910 for young people that want to go in the bar and only have a room to sleep afar!”

“It was in the heart of Van Downtown, but in the midnight, there was a big noise that made all of us to wake up and the little one to cry. It ruined our night and next day. It seemed that the noise was from the next door (a bar probably) and it seemed that it will be continued for next couple of nights.”

“I arrived about 8:30 pm at this hotel after a long plane from the United States. To the hotel staff's credit, they arranged for me to stay at a Quality Hotel nearby and even paid the taxi for me to transfer to the other hotel. The stay at the Quality Hotel was quite acceptable.”

“Desk staff are more interested in discussing their social lives with each other than dealing with guests, also do not visit if you do not like to hear "prime" language. The room that we had was disgusting, but we were told it was their last room - The room was dirty and smelled awful - cigarette ash on the floor amongst "other things" under the bed. Parking is a joke - It is an alleyway beside the Hotel with limited parking, for which they charge you $15 per night - if you can indeed get a space, as it seems that staff also choose to park there. Area feels unsafe and generally run down. Consider another Hotel for Vancouver.”

“The hotel is hard to find, we actually found it down the back lane because we didn't see it down Granville. Valet parking is around $15.”

“Except for the place of the hotel, it was a tiny but clean hotel. I found most staff friendly and helpful. As I said for my stay, where I needed the room just to sleep it was ok. Something else that might be bothering, there is a night club just under the hotel that is open till 3 am Fridays and Saturdays. So if you need to rest during this period you may ask for a room away from front street or in higher levels.”

“I don't think I have had better customer service anywhere. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the room was so miserably small I could not even fit my bags in properly. I would not choose to stay again because of this.”
