“Poor quality kitchenette. No microwave oven. The all in one sink, 2 burner stove and refrigerator along with the counter top give you an area of about 24 x 42. This is way to small. The Kitchenette look like it was installed in the 1960's and never updated. The all in one sick, stove and refrigerator has a fridge that does not work anymore and it does not come with a warning. Open the fridge to see rusted broken down shelves and when the smell hits you the room will glow green from the light reflected off your skin. Instead of fixing the all in one unit they just have another fridge in the room taking up your living space. When you turn on the water for the sink the whole faucet assemble moves on top of the sink. The food counter top you have is covered with floor linoleum. They put a total of three towels and one washcloth in the unit that has two queen beds and a kitchenette and is designed for multiple guests. Trust me, you will be reusing your towels more than once. The toilet has a shelf above the tank that prevents you from sitting up straight and hits you in the back. The unit they put us into has the laundry room against our bedroom wall. Just what you want to hear washing and drying machines and the smell of it.”

“Low energy - not very enthusiastic staff (except one young girl who was helpful with directions to some places in town) dark, dingy, worn appliances, bath tub old and gross (would even think of using anything except the bed to sleep in). No swimming pool. Not very helpful or encouraging with information. Very disappointed. I have stayed in lower end hotels in Whistler for less money. At least they were clean, everything was useable and had excellent service. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them at the Travelers Lodge we stayed at. I will never stay in another one again. I am very easy going and don't need fancy but do enjoy some energy from people and enthusiasm. This was not the case. I am extremely disappointed in my stay in Victoria at this hotel.”
