“We requested a non-smoking room, clarified this upon registering, and were assured we were in a non-smoking room. Where were we placed? In a smoking room above the bar that was loud until 1:30 AM. At least it was dirty, run-down, with stained carpets, and smelled bad. We changed rooms after one night, and avoided the noise from the bar and replaced it with street noise. I have never complained about a hotel before! Do you have a 3 star rating?.”

“The hotel and the staff were great. The restaurant was lacking. We had a great time and a wonderful experience in Victoria.”

“The room we were initially given had just been painted and was not habitable due to fumes. The eventual room was a trek through a construction zone and was the first room out of the construction area. The hallway was littered with sheetrock chunks and dust. The carpeting in one of the two rooms we rented was wet. The second room was for my wife's parents. I am still embarrassed. On a positive note, the hotel staff was cheerful and cooperative.”

“There was construction going on in the floor below us. The room was dirty/dingy. There was no ironing board or iron in the room. The bathroom was dirty.”

“I was very disappointed on my stay in Victoria. The hotel was older and I ended up paying more for it then if I had phoned them to book directly. The rooms smelled and the furniture was old, although the front desk was friendly. But this was not a 3 star hotel!”

“I paid 55 USD for a 49.95 CND room and cannot get the difference. I didn't sleep well because it's too noisy. I can clearly hear the conversation from next door and also feels like an elephant live in the room above me. My baby woke up and cried out when he heard the noise. Also, it says the price comes with breakfast but it's a lie. They said "except city center" when I got there.”

“After staying at the hotel, the clerk asked me to pay so I paid. As a result, I paid twice. Of course, I get back the money. But they did not consider customers. They couldn't communicate among staff well.”
