• I liked the atmosphere of the hotel, it was kept up very well.
• The pool area could use an update.

“I was very happy with this hotel. The rooms were very nice and the location was good. I enjoyed how the hotel had a restaurant where you could see the blue jays baseball field.”

• The location of the hotel is outstanding.
• Because the hotel is located within the Blue Jays stadium, the layout of the hotel requires a lengthy walk from the elevators.

“This hotel is centrally located near in downtown Toronto. It is walking distance to major attractions like the CN Tower and the lakefront area. During the summer, there are lots of festivals that one can reach in that area within walking distance. The hotel staff is courteous. Make sure to dine at their Arriba restaurant and take a good look at Blue Jays stadium.”

• Hotel staff was very friendly. Nice bed!
• Should have had elevators on two ends instead of one in the middle because of how wide hotel was.

“This hotel had wonderful staff. The beds extremely nice. Clean. Center of all attractions. We would love to stay there again and would highly recommend to family and friends.”

“I would say the hotel was nice and bright in looks and the experience the staff was very helpful the central location made it very easy to get to transit and is near several good bars.”

• The pool area looked dirty - rust marks and difficult to access - stairs.

• I enjoyed the modern design of this hotel.
• The parking was overly-expensive.

“I enjoyed my experience at the Renaissance. I liked the modern, clean design of the lobby, restaurant and room. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the fitness facilities are excellent. The one negative aspect was the cost of the parking, much too expensive.”

• My room overlooked the baseball stadium.
• Not enough elevators - long walk to elevator.

“The hotel was nice and the people were friendly. The only complaint was the lack of elevators. The person I was with had difficulty walking so far to the elevator every time we left or went to the room.”

• The people there were very nice and the beds were great.
• Couldn't swim in the pool due to poor air quality, and we had to walk so far to get to our room.

“If you are going to stay in this hotel a lot I wouldn't recommend it because the pool wasn't working and neither was the hot tub. The people were totally friendly which was nice. We had to walk a lot to get to our room, the elevators weren't close at all. But the beds were really comfortable!”

• The location is great, its right downtown within walking distance of just about everything.
• Parking is very confusing, as you have to park underneath the hotel/stadium.

“The hotel itself is in a great location of Toronto. It's right downtown within walking distance of just about everything. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom. The staff seemed kind of short with me when asked about directions and parking, but whatever, figuring stuff out is half the adventure of traveling. Its a great hotel, especially for the location.”

• The location was perfect. Easy to access subway, and close to everything!
• The waitress in the bar was rude!

• It was simply beautiful.

“The hotel staff was amazing and they made our stay so enjoyable. The venue was simply gorgeous and such a fabulous accommodations. The hotel is spacious, clean, and set up beautifully. The staff went out of their way to make a visitor feel comfortable and at home. The beds were something I never expected; they were so comfortable and made sleeping in a bed not my own feel normal.”

• The rooms are great, great location, close to Tim Hortins.
• Lighting in bathroom was very dim, and not bright.

“This is my second stay at this hotel and my spouse and friends have loved it. The rooms are very spacious and bed and cots are both comfortable. The lighting overall in the rooms are very dim, especially the bathroom. I believe the bathroom should have 2 options for lights, bright and dim, especially for guys that are shaving and for women applying their makeup. The location was great, close to many different restaurants in the downtown core and they were walking distance. The parking was a bit expensive but great that it has ins and out privileges but it would be better if the hotel could validate it for you. Overall, great weekend and I would stay here again.”

• Very close to everything for everyone. It doesn't matter who you are there is something for you.
• It was not easy to get to the pool/fitness area and you have to walk in public area to get to it.
