• Location/parking/staff.
• Nothing.

“This Hotel is right off the 401 and 404,close to down via Don Valley, great parking and restaurants across the road,very quiet area,spotless hotel with nice professional doorman and staff. We have stayed there 5 times this year at 2 days each and will continue.”

“Took me 10 minutes to find entrance, construction was major. The construction continued through the night, kept me awake.”

• It was very close to the Toronto Centre for the Arts and it was very comfortable.
• The renovations - although there was no noise to disturb us.

• The people and the service were excellent.
• It was in the process of renovation.

“We have loved staying at Westins in the past, but it was disappointing to see that it was not up to the usual standards because it was in the process of renovation. Fortunately, the friendly and attentive staff compensated for much of that. I was disappointed also, that the rugs in the rooms were old and stained in areas. If that is changed I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Getting into Toronto was not inconvenient at all.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The hotel was under construction leaving limited hours in the restaurants and the bar was terrible.

“It will probably be a four star hotel when it is finished with its construction however at this time would not recommend.”

• Poor location -lowest floor.

“The location of the hotel is on busy street and it is very hard to go in and out. The hotel store is trying to rip us off for the currency exchange - $1 CDN for $0.80 US.”

• Lobby carpet seemed dirty.

• Location is in a park like setting-quiet and peaceful.
• The restaurant rushed us and some of the servers were not friendly.

• Nice Bed.
• Balcony blocked off.

“Very nice, clean, comfortable. Got complementary upgrade which was a nice surprise. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would have been nice if the balcony door opened more than 2 inches. Polite staff. good experience.”

• Very attractive, well laid out room.
• No indoor swimming pool or Jacuzzi.

“I know it comes with the territory but to be charged for everything like internet and $11 for self parking in a surface lot is annoying. That being said the hotel interior is beautiful with very attractive, well appointed and comfortable rooms. A decent price for the hotel overall, although the lack of an indoor swimming pool decreases the value.”

• Good range of restaurants, lovely staff, and easy transport systems nearby.
• Decor is a tad tired but still looks good for the grade.

“Fantastic service, the Japanese restaurant is a must! Close to all Toronto areas - we used public transport to get around and it was so easy and efficient. Couple of shopping malls a short bus ride away (bus no 25) - same bus gets you to the Science Centre which is worth a visit. Also have bar / diners in close proximity to hotel if you fancy eating out.”

• Bed was very comfortable.
• You have to pay for parking.

“The hotel is right on the outskirts of Toronto, so not much traffic and very little noise. When staying here pay for the parking yourself ($6) using the machines in the lot. Do not register your car with the front desk, they charge $11 per day. Try to request a floor higher than 4 as the lower floors do not have a view.”

• Lovely bedding.
• Carpets very dirty throughout. In room coffee maker was not clean. Room carpet not vacuumed.

“The hotel is looking tired. It's in a lovely setting and has the appearance that it used to be a 4star hotel but not now. I found the hotel staff indifferent. The bedding was very nice. The rest just ok.”
