“Good room, though it showed that the building was old!”

“Not very great, not bad. Free continental breakfast, but 15.00$ guest parking.”

“I was satisfied, although not fully impressed, with the quality of this hotel. The parking lot was too cramped and difficult to exit if it was full. Not much of a scenic view across the street were buildings either under construction or with graffiti filled walls. Previous guests in the room wrote a message (by no means inappropriate, but just weird), which could only be noticed with the help of steam after a hot shower, with their finger on the bathroom mirror. This made me wonder just how effective the hotel's housekeeping staff was at properly cleaning our room and other rooms. The hotel was easy to find, and close to roadways off the major roads it took me to get there. Staff at the front desk was very friendly. The hotel was close to the venue where I needed to be. I might stay at this hotel again, only during a short term visit.”

“Overall our stay was very good. This was a prime location for walking to wherever you needed to in Toronto. Overall though, I would stay there again basically for the location.”

“This is a good basic place to stay. I was out too early to partake of the continental breakfast so I can't comment on that. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.”

“The additional charges for parking should have been waived considering our rooms were not ready when they should have been.”

“The stairwell reeked like sour milk and dirty socks. The first room they gave us had cigar stench all throughout it (this is a non-smoking hotel). The second room was less smelly, but more disgusting the longer we were in it. The pillowcases were yellowed and several black hairs were on the pillows. The alarm clock had a white crusty material on it. When we turned the TV on to watch some shows before bed, we were greeted with explicit pornography, which did nothing for our comfortability level--imagining the last person in this room and what they were doing, coupled with the hairs and white material on the alarm clock. It was vile and we could hardly sleep from being uncomfortable. We had to wrap our pillows with towels from the bathroom and sleep in our clothes. If you are going to downtown Toronto, definitely miss this place.”

“Hotel was nice, staff was professional and location was good. I was not happy that the room was located directly across from a bachelor party. I felt that the bachelor party should have been placed at the end of a hall where the noise at four o'clock in the morning would not have disturbed so many guests, including myself.”

“It worked out for us as we were going to a concert at the Molson Amphitheatre. I went walking downtown and there were many restaurants in the immediate area and the Theatre District is about 15 min walking. The hotel is just plain old and needs some updating. Breakfast in am is fine, but just basic. No frills for no frills pricing.”

“This maybe the best motel for the bucks, not a big breakfast but enough to get you started on your way. One thought I asked for a receipt for getting a refund of the room tax at the border but was denied.”

“This hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance to the metro convention center and the CN tower. Also, there are a lot of great bars/grills and restaurants on the same street. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean. The carpet needs work. I will stay there again next time Im in town.”

“The hotel was okay - no thrills, but decent decor and a nice size room. I just had a problem with the strong smell of mold in my room. The staff was friendly enough and the service was adequate. I booked the hotel due to its proximity to the University of Toronto (where I went on business). The cost was also very reasonable.”

“I went there with 4 other guys in my wedding party for 3 nights. The main thing we were looking for was location close the Rogers Centre so we could attend Blue Jay games by walking and it did accomplish this. It was also pretty centralized so we didn't need a cab unless we wandered off to far. Overall, it met all our needs.”
