“I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was comfortable, clean, in a convenient location for what I needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

“The overall state of the hotel was very good. We did have issues overnight with noise and doors opening and closing with young people staying there on our floor. We did not get any sleep! We did call a couple of times in the night, but to no avail.”

“For a three star hotel, the Holiday Inn was excellent and well located, mid-town. The staff were courteous and very helpful.”

“This hotel is in a very high-end area in Toronto but it certainly is not a high-end hotel. At best I would consider it a 2-star hotel. It wasn't very clean, the bathroom had mold on the walls and the tub was literally filthy. I would only recommend this hotel for its location.”

“Hotel served it's purpose, central and clean. Pricey for what you get. Staff generally unfriendly, not helpful.”

“This hotel was at best a 2 star hotel; it did not give me what I was looking for. Great place for students and very young travelers in which it seemed to accommodate very well. For the most part the price-line price was not that much better then the hotels own price, I would have paid more money to have stayed in a true 3 star hotel.”

“My partner got sick from the room service! We had nachos. I had a grilled cheese and he had a steak sandwich (which I didn't eat). It was food poisoning in the end according to a clinic. The place lacked charm (then again, it is a holiday inn!). To stay and chill in your hotel, this is not the one to do it in: to sleep, sure.”

“We felt we overpaid for this room. It is not comparable to other 3 star hotels in the downtown area, the majority of the hotel is smoking and even though it had been cleaned the smell was still everywhere. We left very early the next morning.”

“I stayed here with my 3 teenage daughters 19, 18 and 17 and it was like having a small slumber party. We had plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to move around freely without being cramped and no one complained. I would definitely stay here again.”

“This hotel was surprisingly good. It was close to downtown (About 10 minute walk from Eaton Center). It had free wireless internet. Underground Parking was only 15 bucks a day with in and out privileges. It was a nice Relax Environment. Not a lot of people hanging out in the main lobby. It also had a nice restaurant in it that gave great room service. The only complaints about the hotel were that it did not have a business center. It also did not have a pool. It had an exercise facility but it had much to be desired. Also no in room mini bar. Out side of this the Hotel was great. Would definitely go back again.”

“The individual room with full bed in which I stayed was much larger than other downtown Toronto hotels. The staff was knowledgeable about the surrounding area and was able to give directions. They were also courteous to a fault. In all I will come back whenever I am in Toronto.”

“Hotel itself is very clean and nice. The staff was not very friendly but did help in setting us up with how to get downtown. The hotel was quiet with not a lot of extra amenities. Overall, this hotel was exactly what it says, a two star hotel.”

“The staff was not very friendly. The first night without asking my preference they put me on a smoking floor. I usually would care less (I'm a former smoker) but that night I couldn't sleep it was so bad. The next day they changed the room no problem. No apology, or anything of the kind. The guy barely looked me in the eye when I was talking to him. When checking out, again in the middle of my checkout, the only charges I had were parking, the gentleman decides to go ask his friend a question, then proceeds to answer at least 2 phone calls to the hotel, while I'm supposed to be served, hence making me wait an extra 4-5minutes. I think the customer service was lacking at best. Besides that and the fact that the smoking floor was unbearable the rest was as expected.”

“Relatively easy to get to. Nearby metro station.
Close to U of T, museums, and Bloor & Yonge shopping. When asked about a non-smoking room,
we were offered a business" room for another
$15 by the representative at check-in time."”
