“The king non-smoking was great once we got it. I had called two days prior and requested for the king-sized room. When I got there, I was given a king room with smoking, which is not acceptable for an 8-month baby. I resigned to the fact that the employee said that there were not any king non-smoking rooms available, so I accepted two double beds. Fortunately, when we try to get into the room, the top latch is locked, meaning someone was still in the room. As we go back to the front desk and tell them what happened, we approached a different employee and told them our predicament. We said that a king non-smoking would be best since we had a little baby girl. I guess he was apologetic about the two double bed room fiasco and gave us the king non-smoking. Also $10 a day parking was not explained to me at valet or the front desk. I just received a bill before checkout.”

“In its day, I would expect that it was a gem. This hotel is falling into disrepair, is sorely understaffed and they don't appear to like their jobs.”

“Hotel should mention that parking is not included. It is about $13.50 per day for parking. It was very misleading. The parking fee is for visitors as well.”

“This is one of the shittest hotel
I have ever stayed in. Got an asian dude at the front desk, who was telling me that all non smoking rooms are sold out. After 5 minutes gave me a non smoking room. Vallet parking was a nightmere. It took 35 minutes to get my car valet parking cost extra $14. location is horrible in toronto crowde. There was a power outage from evening to mid night. My experience in a hotel this just could not be worse.”

“Enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable, and our room was always very clean. One of the nicest spa/pool/fitness areas I have used. Two staff members present at all times. Pool was easy to get into and the whirlpool and sauna were hot and clean. Great spa services available too. Hotel was a little out of the way of the downtown area, but good transportation service. Definitely would stay there again.”

“This is definitely a business hotel. its location is in the heart of corporate offices in all directions. The rooms are extremely well-appointed and comfortable, and they are not the 40-storey stuff you get downtown. Valet parking only, I'm afraid and there is construction going on next door (they swapped earplugs for the mints on your pillow), but it was a very pleasant experience. Staff was extremely responsive and courteous. I liked this hotel very much.”

“This hotel is situated on a hill in the middle of no where. There is construction building being done in front and also behind hotel. It is very noisy and not very appealing. Areas all around hotel are closed off due to construction. It is not easily accessed from the road and there is only valet parking offered. There is no shopping or restaurants anywhere nearby. If your not driving and need piblic transportation you had better bring your bank account if your using a taxi. This hotel in far from just about everything. Staff is not very attentive at all. I was not once asked if I needed help with anything. Decor is old and dingy. The bed was comfortable but when I opened the door for the
TV one side was broken and hanging. Bathroom was tidy but was not kept well as everything was yellowed and corners were dirty. I would never stay here again.”

“Everything met my expectation of star 3 hotel. However most distracting thing was there was a construction going on right infront of the hotel, plus, if you are a traveler, it is quite difficult to get around like downtown or Finch.”

“The cab from this downtown hotel to the real downtown was nearly $40 which was entirely unacceptable. Had I been properly informed I would have gladly chosen alternate lodgings.”

“Very clean, easy to get to. Staff was friendly, yet I don't think they prefer children. Check your AC before you accept the room and put your baby to sleep!”

“The worst part of our stay at the hotel was the fact that the balcony door did not close and there was a very busy and noisy main road outside. We got zero sleep during our stay because our 1 year old baby couldn't sleep. We also were misinformed by the concierge about public transport. He gave us directions to a bus stop which could only be reached by walking up many steps. On our last day we found another bus stop which was just around the corner (no stairs!) and the buses also went into the center. As we had a pushchair we were really inconvenienced by this.”

“1.On arrival at 11:00 PM they made me to come to the lobby and get the internet cable. 2. They charged me the deposit for that cable in cash although they had my credit card info. 3. The next day they made me to go to the restaurant for getting silver ware! They told me if they bring to the room they will charge me! Despite me being a great tipper!. 4. The bell-boy was an old guy that he didn't even show interest in helping you and was walking like the hotel owner there. 5. The next day my room's AC blew up and fire came out of it, the repair man had no idea what he was doing and asked me if I had turned the heater instead! Even if I did, the fire should not come out of the AC. 6. They kindly changed my room but guess what, I had to go to the Cons. and get the key! 7. My computer that was connected was dead the next day and when I came back home the computer guy told me it is because of power surge and damaged your computer. 8. The hotel is under construction and doesn't have parking. But instead of having a complimentary valet, they charge 16.00$ a day means even more than downtown parking that is 12.00$ for the whole day.13. Awful manager and staff. Terrible experience.”

“Was very disappointed when we arrived. Only had valet parking, there were 5 ladies of the night in front. The valet parking attendants seemed to overlook them. Had breakfast in the morning at the restaurant, buffet was empty, no beverages for the first 15 minutes and was 17.99 each. Buffet was only filled as we were about to leave. Upon leaving the hotel we were told would only need 10 minutes notice to get our car, and took 10 minutes to get through and an additional 40 minutes to get our car.”

“The hotel was clean and many amenities were available. While the decor was a little old, the staff acted as if it was a 5 star hotel. The parking situation was annoying. They are currently doing construction, so the view is of a large construction pit next door. It was the worst hotel, but it was not my favorite either.”
