• Very comfortable sleep environment.
• Parking lot under construction but had to pay for valet.

“A quick access location to Toronto East and Downtown. Not a very special setting or look but worthy of consideration because of the bed quality.”

• Mandatory Valet parking. No self parking.

• Very nice accommodations, I would stay there again.
• Parking was horrible, I do not like valet only parking.

• The Indian concierge, the pool with dome and the bed comfort.
• Lack of understanding and help from the receptionist. The misinformation regarding breakfast in the hotel which we could've had, Pool, staff phone chat.

“As I've said, the staff did not seem to be aware of what the needs of their customers were. The pool staffers were busy chatting with friends on the phone rather than seeing to what they could do to accommodate people needing towels or locks for the lockers or to recognize that the pool was being cleaned and to advise people changing into their bathing suites that they should come wait and come back in 15 minutes. Or the pool staff giving others a tour of the locker room when people are crouched down in the process of changing. Breakfast, we were at time but were told erroneously that breakfast had ended. We had 3 people trying to give their versions of how to get to the Science Museum when one would've been fine. Three made it confusing! And yes, there was mold on the side of the sink and the bathroom had a smell of pee that might not have been cleaned off of the floor well enough.”

• Excellent location just off the DVP.
• Aggressive parking valets; not so friendly staff.

“After arriving, the first thing you will notice are the aggressive valets who jump on you even if you're just dropping/picking people off/up. They insist on taking your keys even if you will just be 2 minutes. The room had 2 beds which felt even smaller than doubles. We didn't get to try the pool/sauna/steam room but they looked nice. On checkout, the front desk staff tried to charge us an extra day for parking. They were not very courteous. This hotel is just barely 3 stars.”

• Rooms were very nice, beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly.
• We had a very hard time sleeping because of the noise that the heat/air conditioner made. It was very loud and we could not turn it off.

“We were informed when we arrived at the hotel that we had to pay an additional $l6.00 for valet parking. It was not mentioned when we call to book a non-smoking room. It would be nice to know in advance of hidden charges.”

• The driveway was full of slush that you had to walk through to get in your car.

“Nice hotel, love the heated bathroom floor. Nice view of wooded valley. Very helpful employees, also friendly.”

• Friendly concierge.
• Only valet parking during construction, I would not have stayed if I knew.

“No notice was given that during constructing parking was only by valet. I would not have stayed if I knew this. It meant if you wanted to go anywhere it meant a 15 minute wait. It was too far from anywhere to even walk to a little store, cafe etc. If you needed something from your car, too bad.”

• Bedding was excellent and comfortable.
• Location was a bit out of the way. Your map is wrong.

“There is a lot of construction of condos nearby. We were on the 5th floor which was called "prestige" or something. It was great to be there since we paid such a low rate. Very friendly. Nice breakfast buffet. Cool indoor swimming pool and reasonable for valet parking. Not really convenient to downtown though.”

• Room/Bathroom was clean and fairly comfortable.
• Construction Noise started at 6am.

“This hotel is located well away from the Downtown - which was fine, we knew that - but it is totally surrounded by a condo/old folks home construction site. The main entrance was taped off for renovations as was a large section of the front lobby. The window on our roomed leaked cold air all night and construction noise from 6am onwards. Otherwise it was fine for an overnight stay, but definitely not a place to minger.”

• Staff was professional (when check-in & out). My room is clean.
• Hotel location is the worst, hard to find. Valet parking only, this is only 3 star Hotel (mean you must be $16/day).

“This Hotel doesn't offer self-parking, mean forcing guests to pay additional $16. May be this hotel is trying to offer 4 or 5 star hotel services, that's impossible when you're losing customers.”

“Rooms were fairly nice, liked the open balcony. Staff was very poorly trained or made enough money where they didn't care about good customer service and must have worked on an hourly wage, not for tips.”

• It's clean.
• The staff never smiles and parking fee of $16 is very expensive!

“I will definitely not recommend this hotel. It charged parking fee of $16 which I don't expect. The worst thing is I was charged for about 90 without being notified when I checked out! Now I am contacting with the staff. They worked so slow and haven't explained the reasons yet! It's a very unpleasant experience!”
