“The room itself was not clean. The carpet leading into the room and in the room was dirty. The toilet was not working and at 11:00 pm when we called the front desk to report this,the desk person arrived and asked if we had a coat hanger with which to repair it. The breakfast area and the breakfast were pathetic, both in appearance and functionality.”

• The maid was very friendly, helpful.
• Front staff was very unfriendly and rude.

“I am staying right now in a room at the Super 8 in Regina, Sask. The room wasn't cleaned, the maid had to come up and clean it and she told us it wasn't ready after the front desk went up and checked and said it was. The TV doesn't work and we have made 2 trips already for remote controls and now the girl at the front desk growled the she will have to get a screwdriver and change the batteries. I have told her we want our money back and she said no and if we didn't like it we could leave the hotel but we weren't getting our money back. She wouldn't let me talk to the manager, said he'd be in at 7am we could come back from the other hotel and complain then. I don't see how this is very friendly service, it's as if she is trying to chase us away so she doesn't have to do anything. It's not hard to fix a remote and I paided 100.00 dollars to run up and down the stairs. Everytime I phoned I had to run down stairs to her to fix the problem and we still don't have a TV and no internet. She gave me a paper to tell me how to use the internet here and the when I phoned back down because it wouldn't work she said come down to the main floor it will work there. It's suppose to work in the room as she said. I am sorry that this is so negative but the front desk person as I said, it's like she wants us to leave then she has nothing to do.”

• The continental breakfast was good.
• The hall ways and stairs needed vacuuming badly.

“Quite good, for the price other than a little cleaner would have been nicer.”

• A decent location and surprisingly quiet even though, it is right on the Trans-Canada Highway.
• The room was small and the breakfast had a poor selection.

“The hotel has a decent location, close to shopping had restaurants and is right on a main thorough fare. The rooms are quite soundproof. The breakfast needs to have a much better selection.”
