“Usually an airport location is not my first choice when staying in a city for the first time. The hotel is lovely and bus stops out front, so it was easy to spend the evening seeing Vancouver before heading for our cruise the next day.”

“It took us 3 attempts to get a satisfactory room. First one had the wrong beds, second one had a broken AC (they were being repaired throughout). Finally, we had a room with a working AC.”

“I was connecting through Vancouver so basically just needed a decent room for the night with a quick free shuttle to and from the airport. Delta fit my needs. Room service was available; food quality so-so.”

“It was fine for a night since we were just passing through - and the price was right. The personnel was friendly and accommodating including the shuttle driver who made sure to load our bags onto a cart upon arrival at the airport. As long as you're not expecting luxury and a high-end room, this hotel was fine.”

“The lobby and exterior of the hotel barely qualifies for 3-star rating. The room itself is outdated, lower quality than you'd get at Comfort Inn or Best Western. Very disappointing compared to past experiences.”

“A sorry example of a Delta Hotel. Renovation of the Heating system was in progress. Banging, drilling and other loud noises could be heard at all hours from early morning to evening. Rooms had no operational air-conditioning system and had a bad smell. Only positive was the Bell staff that was extremely friendly and helpful. Would not stay at this location again.”

“Because we arrived in YVR Vancouver airport so late (1 a.m.) and were coming across the country from JFK, it was great to stay local to the airport the first night before we left for Whistler the next day. We had to take a cab due to the late hour as the shuttle stops service at midnight, but the hotel kindly reimbursed us for this expense. HVAC system was under renovation so it was not so easy to regulate temp; otherwise our room was fine and perfect for the cost.”

“My rooms heating did not work well, my room was cold. The bathroom had a noise from the furnace (I think) on the other side of a wall. I had to keep the bathroom door closed so I didn't hear the noise in my room.”

“For the price, it's an okay hotel, but I don't like the extra $10 parking fee. Everything are very old, it needs a remodeling soon! Ice machine didn't work on the floor we stayed and so was the one a floor above us.”

“We were upgraded when we paid an extra $20 for the night. The room we had been in was well used and having stayed at the Delta before (which is what brought me back) and knew the difference from then to now, I was somewhat disappointed. The TV was also too small for watching from the bed, especially someone with vision difficulties.”

“I found the room to be quite small and lacking sufficient space even for one single suitcase (there was no rack to support the suitcase and no space for one). Though clean, the room I was given was at the back of the hotel, no outside view of any kind and in general, unfriendly staff (exception for the cleaning maid. Very expensive for the accommodation and services rendered.”
