“I could not believe how poorly the kitchen staff worked the food they prepared even the simplest i.e. scrambled eggs, were a disaster. After the first day we ate out for breakfast.”

“The hotel was great. The location was ok too. Close to most attractions. Everything within 5-6 miles radius. The only that I did not like was the parking lot. They were in a basement and it was a little tricky to get in and out of them. The breakfast that they offer is fabulous. You can skip lunch if you are eating their breakfast. Its real food not some cereal and toast. The rooms are clean and neat. The pool was good too.”

“In short, a fantastic experience. Hotel was luxurious, I was also surprised about the size of the room-it was large and spacious and had a wonderful large balcony as well. Hotel staff were more than helpful, offered exquisite customer service. Overall, great deal-will certainly recommend it to friends and family and will personally use it again.”

“The staff gave us a corner suite for no extra charge. Great bedding & pillows-it was like sleeping on a cloud. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.”

“The hotel was above my expectations for a 2 star hotel, and it was better than any other Residence Inn that I have previously stayed in. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean/semi elegant, the kitchen was not the greatest, but I did not use it or intend on using it. The lobby makes for a great gathering place; it's chic and it has a see-through fireplace.”

“The best things about this hotel was the location (a short walk to St. Catherine street) and the room. The room was very nice, the fittings were new and internet service was complimentary. The kitchenette in our room was very useful and allowed us to save costs by cooking simple meals. Breakfast was included in our stay. It was however chaotic as the hotel was apparently full and there wasn't enough seating, trays or cutlery. The food, though, was good once you managed to get some! Would highly recommend this hotel as a good place to stay in downtown Montreal.”

“Good location, good room, good rate. But the hotel charge you like 20% tax on top of published parking fee. All other hotel and parking places we have been do not charge extra tax. The taxes were simply included in the published rate. I hope the hotel wasn't trying to make money from double taxing the clients.”

“The hotel is very clean with friendly staff. The room I got has a fully functional kitchen with microwave and fridge. Very nice for what I paid for. The only downside is that the hotel parking did not accommodate bigger cars. I had to park in a public parking lot 2 blocks away.”

“Overall the hotel was a good value for the money. A useable kitchen, work desk, free Internet, and a balcony were all strong positives. The bathroom was small and in need up upgrading. For example, there was no soap dish in the shower/tub. I expect a little better from a Residence Inn. The lobby was very nice and clean and the free breakfast was very good. The biggest problem with this hotel is the two very slow elevators. Unless you like to wait around a lot you may want to request a room on a lower floor and just take the stairs. I was on the 19th floor so I ended up waiting for the elevators.”

“Very nice hotel. The room we got had a full kitchen, so we felt we got a little more than we bargained for. The room also had a balcony, but it felt kind of unsafe. So we didn't really use it. I am sure it was safe, it was just the way it was constructed. Overall we where very happy about the hotel and the staff.”

“Staff is very accommodating with directions (walking and driving). Rooms come with complimentary microwave popcorn. Complimentary breakfast is extensive and will please all appetites- the "make-your-own" waffles are a treat. Parking is reasonably priced and so easy to access at all hours (day or night).”
