• Good value, comfortable room, well located, well maintained, helpful staff.
• Minimal availability of smoking rooms.

“A very well run and maintained older hotel. Used to be a 4 seasons. Convenient to the city location.”

• Good and professional service, clean rooms, good location.
• Did not like the rooms on the lower back of the hotel due to noise from the swimming pool.

“Very good location, professional staff, nice little bar/restaurant. If you check in make to sure to ask for a room far from the swimming pool area, however worry about it only during summer months. Take a Metro or walk anywhere in Montreal. Enjoy!”

• Rooms were outdated and bathroom was poor.

“The Omni Mont-Royal is a nice hotel, but I wouldn't give it 4 stars. Clearly it used to be a Four Seasons (the faucets in the bathroom still say Four Seasons and carry a picture of the logo) but it has come down in the world since then. Public spaces are nice, but the rooms felt in serious need of a facelift. Parking was expensive, and a block away. Overall, considering the number and quality of other Montreal hotels, I wouldn't recommend this one.”

• We liked the spaciousness of the room, comfortable bed, and free wireless internet access.
• Nothing we didn't like.

• The hotel is in a great location. The room was a nice size, large bathroom.
• The pool area could have been nicer. Parking was expensive, but then again, it's a large city.

“The Omni is in a great location. It is definitely a 4-star hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and clean. We had car trouble and the valet service staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel.”

• The hotel staff was extremely helpful!
• The price of the water and goodies in the room was a little extreme.

“My husband and I were very happy with our time spent at the Omni. The hotel staff was overly accommodating and helpful in every way. Our room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is conveniently located for a tourist. I would go back in a Heartbeat.”

• Room was not ready at check in. Had to wait hours!

“I would stay at Omni again. Food tray from someone's room service left outside our room until we checked out next day. Room was not ready for over 2and1/2 hours. Thought it was a regular room with a sofa, it was sofa bed and it was not clean! Finally got another room and it was a twin Murphy bed! Then they tried to charge me for a cot for my husband! Closet door had large piece of veneer off and hairdryer would on blow out very low air flow. I do not go away to sit in the hotel lobby for hours on end to get a sub par room. Hotel gave free breakfast for our trouble. We left Montreal as soon as we got up and checked out. We would have never stopped in Montreal and just would have driven home to NJ had we known all of the aggravation we were to encounter at Omni. If Omni cannot accommodate there guests with a clean and decent room at the correct check in time, then they should not overbook the hotel, or hire enough staff. It should not be my problem that they do not have enough staff to clean the hotel.”

• Although the decor was a bit dated, it was well-maintained and kept very clean. Location was excellent and pool was appreciated.
• Decor while well-maintained and kept clean was dated and could use a renovation.

“The Omni Montreal is a convenient hotel for both business travelers and tourists looking for a central location. Old Montreal and St Laurent street with their lounges and restaurants are only short cab rides away while the stores of St. Catherine are a 5 minute walk. The hotel has a great lap pool and the rooms are large and kept very clean. I would recommend this hotel.”

• Great service, great location, great view.
• Rooms furnishings and decorations were dated.

“Very good experience overall. Rooms were in need of an upgrade, but the excellent view made up for it. Service was excellent, especially the front desk and room service. Location was very good. Common areas were also good. Definitely for someone who is looking for a okay, but not great room, but an otherwise excellent experience.”

• The only room available was a smoking room. I have a severe reaction to smoke.

• It was a nice enough hotel. Just didn't meet my expectation of a 4 star.
• The pool and health club facilities were not 4 stars.

“It was a nice hotel and the room was very big. The hotel was close to shopping and Downtown but I was a bit disappointed with the facilities since I would have expected a very clean pool, hot tub and health club.”

• Loved the location, luxurious room, great gym and availability of spa treatments.
• A* hotel in a city like Montreal should have a superior restaurant, rather than an expensive coffee shop with poorly prepared food.

“This stylish, well appointed hotel on a prestigious street in the centre in Canada's most lively and elegant city was a pleasure. From the well-appointed room to the gym and spa treatments, this hotel can provide the support required for the business traveler and the luxe desired by the leisure traveler. Although lacking a great in-house restaurant, its location--steps to great restaurants, galleries, the Musee des Beaux Arts and excellent shopping, make this is a gem in the heart of Montreal.”
