“ The location is excellent, quick access to Metro and within walking distance to many places. Free wireless Internet a big plus. Very good service and great views from the rooms. The rooms are very outdated, and the hotel could use a good refresh. ”

“The hotel has good location near metro and staffs were very friendly and helpful. But the room is very small and so is the bathroom. The cleaness was just ok, the carpet in our room had obvious stain without removing completely.”

“Good location, rooms are average, the staff was reasonable, they helped us in finding a good fondue restaurant, I didn't like their parking they have 2 types valet and self parking, you have to pay each time you go in and out of the self parking area.”

“My husband had always admired the exterior of the Marriott chateau Champlain; we were all pleased at the loveliness of the interior. Our family of four was treated kindly even though we did not speak French.”

“We had a late check in and they apparently gave our room away. In return they booked us into the Fairmont which is just up the street and arranged and paid for our transportation.”

“Very nice hotel. Two blocks from the bell centre and a 10 minute walk from shopping. Parking is not through the hotel and is $18/day without in/out privileges ($24/day for the valet) great location for a hockey game or a concert.”

“Hotel is thirty+ years old. It shows signs of wear in places and elegance due to age in other places. It was very comfortable, affordable and a great location to stay. Staff was very friendly whether you tipped or not.”

“The valet parking is ripping off & should be included in the price of the room. I made $72 for parking for 3 days. Unbelievable. It was not disclosed & I was quite upset. The bathroom was poor & needs to be renovated. I could not take a bath because it was old.”

“This is our 2nd trip to Montreal the first one being in 2006 but this yr we stayed for 7days.our location was right near almost everything. The view fantastic and the rooms were very clean and charming. Very friendly staff and very helpful. The room service was timely and the staff will go the extra mile to help. I will tell you that if you are driving the parking is $18 a day. You can find a few local public lots about 2 to 4 blocks away for $8 a day a nice secure locations just ask the staff the will direct you even give you a map. The smoke alarms are very sensitive and when showering at least in our room it will alarm. Easily solved just close the bathroom door. Other then that the stay was great and we will be staying there again on our next trip.”
