“The hotel was fine for the price, but the floors weren't clean. Hotel staff were very nice and friendly.”

“I would recommend this hotel, but I would not return I would look for a new location the next time I return. I go there at lease once a year.”

“The location was great! Walking distance to two Metro stations, pubs, restaurants, shopping and even to Old Montreal. We parked the car and didnt use it for the whole weekend. We walked everywhere and returned by train. I recommend this hotel!”

“Nice location, in a safe neighborhood with close access to the Metro and walking distance from St. Catherine St. Price and quality match expectations. The air conditioning unit was loud; but, I felt clean, comfortable, and safe at all times.”

“Besides what I stated above, here is my experience: The hair dryer was on fire due to overheating after I used it for about 10 seconds. I took it down to the concierge and, without an apology; they replaced it with another one for me. After I used it for about 2 minutes, the new hair dryer shut off and were presumably dead again! I went downstairs (without the dryer in my hand this time) to the concierge and told them about it again. Without an apology again this time, they heard my story, gave me a blind stare, and ignored my experience, i.e. without offering to send someone up to my room and have a look. Other than the less-than-friendly concierge, the other people (such as the porter) were either not friendly or simply was not in a mood to welcome their patrons! Having said that, when I was allotted Days Inn as my hotel in Montreal, I kind of expected this kind of experience because Days Inns are our last choice among all the other major chains, even worse than Motel 6 or Econolodge!”

“The hotel is located in a prime location; it is not the prettiest of hotels but good enough.”

“It's quite a good hotel considering the price. But in addition to the rate we pay for room, they are going to charge you $15 per night because it is located near downtown. And the parking lot is terrible; it smells bad and so dated. But room was not bad.”

“This was a good hotel for a quick trip into the city. I would not stay for more than one night however as other than location the hotel had little to offer.”

“At the given star rating and price level, this was an excellent hotel. Although room decor is a bit dated and this is not a very new building, the staff was very friendly, location was good, and cleanliness was excellent.”

“It was convenient, clean, reasonable, and we found our room quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful, and made an effort to put us away from the large noisy groups. The refrigerator in the room was very helpful.”

“Terrible hotel, should not be rated a 2.5* hotel, more like a 2*. Rooms are shabby, beds uncomfortable, linens nasty, lacking TV stations, etc. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is they give you free high speed Internet.”

“The hotel location, garage and stuff are very friendly and I like them but hotel decoration is too old, carpet to dark, bed and furniture look like old. I stayed Marriot hotel same amount but much nicer then Days Hotel in a same city.”

“The Days Hotel and Conference Center in Montreal is an adequate hotel with a good location, just on the outskirts of Downtown. Though the locale is clean, it is hardly modern and anything but inviting. Expect the basics, a marginally comfortable bed, cable TV (with a volume limiting lock out) and a clean bathroom. Free in-room broadband Internet access is a plus, parking is conveniently located directly adjacent to the main lobby. Bottom line: I've had much better experiences in Montreal at this same star level.”

“Light bulbs were out, you kept stubbing your toes going into the bathroom, the Jacuzzi and pool were both dirty and in poor condition. The hotel's website was not accurate in the quality of these amenities and was a sore disappointment after heading downstairs in a bathing suit and towel!”

“Hotel lobby is a bit small, overall is okay, just that is abit far from the attraction places. This hotel location is also not easy to find.”
