• Nice clean rooms good location.
• $20 for parking 20% of room rate.

“Would have been perfect except that there was mandatory valet parking at $20 a night which I think is extreme. They give you a low rate but get you on the parking.”

• Smell of chlorine in the restaurant area.

“The location of the hotel was great for walking to the falls, casino and Starbucks. Clean, nice, mid-upscale hotel. $20/day parking seemed a bit high. Soda machine on every other floor and our floor's machine was out of order for 4 days.”

• The staff especially Mandy and housekeeping were wonderful.
• All fees were not given and we almost didn't have the monies to stay.

“I enjoyed our stay. The staff with the exception of the waiter we had been on point. I was able to relax and enjoy myself. Everything was clean and the view from our room was out of this world! All of the attractions were right I could not have thought of a better getaway or place to stay.”

• Pool.
• In no way was a 4 star hotel!

“Room looked like a 2 star at the max and people were rude and not helpful, I expected a valet with the service of bringing my families bags to the room and never even offered. Parking was expensive and way out of the way. Will never stay at this hotel again.”

• The location is perfect. Location is important in that area.
• Everything was perfect.

“The location is convenient to everything there is to see at the falls. We parked our car and did not have to use it until our stay was over. We are seniors and still everything was convenient. The staff is outstanding.”

• The hotel was within walking distance of most places.
• Could not upgrade due to the way it was purchased.

• The décor.
• The tour to Niagara falls was charged incorrectly.

“We were charged incorrectly for the tour to Niagara falls and nearby sites. I suggest doing the sight seeing on your own or with another company.”

• I loved the room and the layout of the hotel.
• They might need to update their rather small fitness room and sauna.

“My family and I loved the renaissance falls view with excellent location to the falls, and to the casino across the street. We would definitely stay there again.”

• $20 parking, 3star rooms, no view tall.

“If you like the view of a 5 story car parking building right in front of this hotel then go. Hotel rooms need work they are 3star, $20 parking charges are a turn off.”

• The staff at Renaissance were fantastic. For this reason alone I will return.
• I really did not have any issues, but the location on the map I received was a bit farther from the falls than I wanted.

“It was a little difficult to find the hotel, but once we found it and checked in they offered to upgrade our view of the falls, and actually got a corner room that had a falls view and city view. We drove to Niagara from Ohio, and really enjoyed the trip. Complimentary valet parking was a nice perk and really, I felt like a VIP the way the staff treated myself and my wife. (we brought our 2 year old also, she liked the pool.) Canada and the Renaissance Hotel will have our business again, and I am recommending to all of our family and friends. Thanks The Fitzgerald's”

• The hotel met our expectations. The room was modern and very clean. Friendly staff!
• The mattress was too, too soft. Equipment in fitness room was difficult to use.

• Clean, attractive location, very friendly staff.
• The changing rooms and showers are located far wait from the pool; it's a long and cold way 1 flight of stairs down to get there.

“Which I find very questionable. That must be in the fine print and is a bummer, if you're looking for a romantic getaway with Jacuzzi and view. ”

• The fee for parking is well overpriced. The cleaning of the room lacked some key elements.

• The restaurants and food were great.
• Not a 4star, small room, few amenities.

“The friendly staff was helpful, did not like that I had to dish out another $20 just to park there. When I went to park there, the lot was full, so I had to valet my car which meant I had to tip whoever was taking my car. The pool area was really nice, and the breakfast buffet was tremendous, but very pricey. The room was clean but very small. Overall, it was an ok experience.”
