“What can I say. Loud karaoke till 2 AM. No clean towels and called front desk and was told it would be taken care of right away but it wasn't. Personally stopped in office, then we received towels. Door to room didn't lock. After taking a shower standing knee deep in water. Scungy carpet. I think I'll pass this place up next time.”

“First, I'll need to say that the purpose of this review is not to complain about our stay. Upon arrival, we found out that there is a karaoke bar right in the middle of Thrift lodge premises (and I mean like literally 30 feet away from the windows and doors). The attendant made us sign a waiver that we acknowledge and agree to the noise. Make sure that you take your best earplugs and prescription sleeping pills in order to sleep as the rowdy voices will try to make you stay awake. Unless, of course, if you are on your way to join the drunken karaoke band of Clifton Hill. Our neighbors in the room next door have been drinking beer, smoking heavily, singing-along and shouting until 6 AM right outside their room where they had put the chairs for socializing and we had to ask them repeatedly throughout the night to keep it quiet. If you need a good night sleep and have your kids nice and calm - consider another hotel outside of this area.”

“It is convenient but loud due to the karaoke until 2 in the morning across the parking lot. The kids enjoyed it. I was disappointed there were no free breakfast and no indoor pool. The room smelled of moth balls and it wasn't very clean. The curtains were torn and had holes in them.”
