“Myself and my travel partner were very pleased with the price value of the room we received and astonished by the amount of room space. However, the night shift front desk clerk was rather rude and threatened to charge myself if an extra guess (being my younger cousin) stayed with us one of the nights. Furthermore, he accused us or be a potential disruptions because we were planning on purchasing and cooking a pizza from the hotels small convenience service late a night. We complied with his will and never raised a fuss, nor where we ever a center of complaint from any other guests staying at the hotel. I have never heard of a hotel dinning extra people to stay in a room, especially when there is a provided pull-out couch, and I believe this is a true form of age discrimination or age profiling. I have never ever experienced this type of treatment from the staff of a hotel in my life.”

“Overall, it was clean and acceptable. However, bathroom and the bedroom were tiny. We did not use the sitting-room so it was a waste for us. Also, I had intended to take my dog until I saw the pet charge was $75 whether any soiling occurred or not. I object to that. If my dog soils or does damage fine but not just in case!”

“This hotel was good value compared to other possible locations in the London area. It was right Downtown and within walking distance of Downtown attractions. The room and lobby were clean but no frills. The breakfast area was crowded, not kept very clean and had one of the worst breakfasts that we have had at similar hotels in recent stays. Not much selection, not well stocked. Overall, I would stay again but probably have breakfast elsewhere.”

“Average hotel, decent rooms, horrible TV (27" or less?). Not the first time Ive stayed at Residence Inn, and when you ask for and expect a queen sized bed, they always give you a double. And when you argue with them, they insist it's a queen bed when it's clearly not.”

“This hotel was rated as a 2 1/2 star. I would definitely say that it was at least a 3 star. It was well kept, clean with a modern spacious room. There was a hot complimentary breakfast in the morning with a nice dining nook and plenty of choices for eating.”

“Family friendly and well located in the core of downtown London, the residence inn Marriott is a clean, mid-range accommodation with all the necessary amenities for travelers or businessmen. Excellent buffet breakfast included offered at an agreeable time when most travelers can actually enjoy it. Amazing value for the money; highly recommend!”

“Great, however I came on Saturday night for the 10k, 1/2 marathon on Sunday. We envisaged finishing around 11am but wanted to shower after. When asking at the front desk if we could be accommodated, an extra hour was given as long as we understood that any hour or part of thereafter would be charged at $55. This seemed a little excessive. We had no intention of staying later than necessary. I am wondering how this policy can accommodate genuine family situations such as ours without appearing unduly inhibitive.”

“Our room was much larger and nicer than I was expecting. I knew that it didn't have a pool before we got there, but that is the only downfall for a leisure traveler.”

“I was on a week long trip and needed accommodations in town. It is located in a place that was easy to get around and see the sights, close to churches, historic areas, shopping and fine restaurants. The room I was in was the handicapped one as it was available and was near the exercise room and the spa. It was very convenient in every way. They do dinner one night a week for the guests which I think is an outstanding thing for folks who are on the go all day, whether it is work or vacation. Going out to eat every night gets very expensive so this was appreciated. My stay there was fine and I would go there again if it came up.”

“The neighborhood for this hotel seemed iffy to me. There was a charge for parking, not listed on their website. While this hotel would have been great for business travelers as it is a suite, there was only a queen size bed and twin pull out which did not work well for a family of four. There was no effort made by hotel staff to fix this. The hot breakfast was very good, however.”

“Hotel is located at edge of downtown London. Underground complimentary parking provided. Staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was above average. Rooms were clean and bright although a bit sterile and stark.”
