• Nice room.
• Poor staff.

“Outrageous parking fee of 14 a day. There was one hotel staff who was quite rude. Other staff were generally nice.”

• It was beautiful decorated, very friendly and clean.
• Nothing.

“It was great as we said, it was very clean, very friendly staff - including the cleaning lady on our floor, (she said good morning before we did. It was quiet, yet you walked into the room to hear soft music playing - that changes the atmosphere so as you walk in the room. Loved it! I believe it is the best stay anywhere we have ever had and it was just for an overnighter!”

• Location to airport and company's training facilities good. Shuttle times good.
• Size of bathrooms and noise level. Very noisy! Highways and airplanes.

“Although adequate, I certainly would hope to attain other hotels, higher up in my preferences for a 3 star rating. This hotel was extremely noisy and the rooms were small and not the cleanest.”

• Friendly helpful staff, solicitous & non intrusive.
• The $12 parking fee for an over night stay!

• The wheel-chair accessible bathroom with transfer bench was exactly what we wanted.
• The fire alarm going off at 5:30 am.

• Friendly & knowledgeable staff, very clean luxury room.
• No smoking in rooms, but it's law.

“The hotel accommodates to many different clientele and their staff is very diverse as well. They were friendly and willing to answer any stupid questions I had. I also enjoyed the size of the room and how clean it was when I arrived.”

• Parking entrance, hard to see.

• Small exercise room given hotel size.

“Nice hotel convenient to airport and highways. Parking can be a challenge, but other wise, very good place to stay, especially if proximity to airport is important. Great restaurants all around the area.”

• Good location. Attractive decor. Salt water pool, hot tub & sauna, clean and adequate room.
• Paid parking and areas of the parking lot not well lit at night.

• Was close to the international center where we were working for the weekend.
• They issued a key to our room to someone else well we were sleeping and that person entered our room.

“Hotel was clean and conveniently located for where we had to be but the hotel is getting a little tired and was no as good as the Marriot.”

• Close to airport, free shuttle, average size rooms.
• Nothing, it was adequate for my needs.

“The Holiday Inn select is located less than a 5 minute shuttle from Pearson airport, which is free and runs every 15 minutes. The room was average size, recently renovated, clean, and fairly standard. The pool area looked nice, which the lobby overlooked. Overall, a solid three star establishment.”

• Proximity to airport.
• Water leak by bathroom caused carpet to be soaking wet and was not attended to in a prompt manner.

“Location is great as was room. This was until a service person knocked on our doot to advise us of a water leak. We asked them to come back in a few minutes, as we were just getting settled. We then found that we could not walk into the bathroom without walking over a soaking wet carpet. We called a few times to try and get someone to comeback. By the time they did it was 11PM, they then offered for us to change rooms. By then we just wanted to go to sleep as we had an early morning flight.”
