• Staff was friendly and courteous.
• Some public areas were run down like hall ways especially carpets were old, and very stained.

“The lobby area was reasonably clean and spacious. The heated pool was limited on heat, hot but was good, part of the pool room area could use an upgrade especially the ceiling. The towels supplied at pool side were size of hand towels and were better to used as a back scratcher then a towel. The hallways are in bad need of an upgrade especially carpets and room doors. The rooms were definitely on the small side compared to other rooms.”

• Can't beat price. Car would have helped, regular bus service doesn't start till 9 am.
• Very far out!

“After reading all the negative reviews I was apprehensive about staying there. I didn't have to worry though, once again people were over-reacting. For the price I was pleasantly surprised. I intend on staying there again.”

• Swimming Pool, equipment in the room, mcwve, coffee maker, close 2 shoppin area.
• Front desk clerk are not friendly at all. Need to improve customer Service, should be more knowledgeable about their own town.

“Travelodge has good reputation overall that is why I chose to stay and price is reasonable. The most important thing to have is customer service and how a guest should be treated, people come from out of town, not familiar with the town therefore it would help and guest would feel at ease if you come across a friendly staff that are able to answer questions that you may have, point you to the right directions.”

• Close to West Edmonton Mall.

“The parking lot was filthy, with garbage and oil drippings on the pavement from the restaurant.”

• I did not like any thing about this hotel.
• Everything.

“This hotel is one of the worst disgusting, cheap rundown, dirty, unsafe small single rooms made to look like double rooms. It was unkept, the elevator had not been serviced or maintained since 2006. The doors to the rooms were not sealed for even safety, ice machines were there but they never gave ice, No free breakfast but you had to pay at a Smitty's, there was waterpark but children were being cut on sharp objects, coffee machines were nowhere to plug-in, do not stay at the Travel Lodge for even one night, it ruined our whole weekend!”

• It was close to the West Edmonton Mall.
• The room was small, our room did not get cleaned on the 3rd day and they did nothing to compensate us for it.

“The room was very small. The pool was very crowded and there were no towels available at the pool. The room was not cleaned at all on one of the days that we were there. They told us that the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, but we left the room at 10:00 a.m and removed the sign. They didn't seem to believe us.”

• Receptionists were very nice and friendly.
• Small room, no fridge, mold on ceiling above shower.

“This hotel did have some of the facilities that other hotels have. There was no fridge in the room and mold on the ceiling above the shower. The room was very small but overall good enough if you weren't going to be spending any time in the room.”

• Hotel was in a great location and easy to get to.
• Needs an update in carpets and decor.

“As mentioned above the place was filthy! Garbage on the staircase for three days is totally unacceptable! I requested the cleaning staff to bring clean towels for three days in a row and they still did not come by my room. I finally lost it on the front clerk. The pool had people swimming in street clothes! Kids walking all over the lobby soaking wet in bare feet, children left unattended in the lobby and hallways. The restaurant staff was not very friendly. Customer service goes a long way in my eyes, but not here! My son ordered a fruit cup off the menu and he was informed they did not have any fruit. It was 9:00 in the morning. Poor planning! I was expecting a package to be delivered by courier to the hotel and they could not find it even after signing for it at the front desk. This hotel does should be not Travel Lodge. They are far below the rating and standards of a Travel Lodge I have stayed in other Travel Lodge hotels and this hotel did not even come close to the cleanliness and service expected. It was horrific! I will never stay here again!”
