“Cleaner than the Delta Edmonton South but not by much. Everything in the room was plugged into one power bar and there were extension cords everywhere. It was extremely noisy (was in a room right between two families with very badly behaved children) kids were screaming down the hall at midnight and even after repeated calls to front desk, nobody did anything about it. The room was also in really bad shape and needed renovating. If they had taken half as much care with their rooms as they did their lobby, I probably would not have had any complaints. And talking about your man troubles when the public is standing right there as well as extremely unprofessional.”

“Crap, I can't believe that this is a hotel on your list, you should warn people, I would have rather slept in my car while throwing my money at homeless people!”

“This hotel was okay. The lobby is gorgeous and there is a nice pool with large area for sitting & hanging out. There is also a restaurant (Denny's) attached which was nice for breakfast. It's close to shopping & the West Edmonton Mall. The only drawbacks were that the walls were thin - you could hear people coughing through them (all night), and the beds weren't very comfy. We were supposed to get a queen-sized bed (which is what we have at home) and although the sheets said it was queen, it was definitely smaller than the average. We also woke up with really sore necks - the pillows weren't great. We stayed at a Holiday Inn in Regina after we left Edmonton and it was GORGEOUS - nice sleep - not noisy. It felt luxurious after the Sandman's rooms.”

“Staff was friendly, and accommodated to my needs. Food was awesome from the lounge! Nice lounge. The room over looked the pool so it was loud in the morning. Lots of kids when I stayed.”

“Check in was quoted as being 3 pm, when in fact check in is 4pm. The staff was very courteous about the check in process even though I arrived at 3 pm, they proceeded with check in. Again, front desk staff was very friendly and efficient in the process. I found the room to be on the small side, but it was very clean and even had complimentary bottled water, trial mix and a giant cookie in a basket in the room. Room service from Denny's was prompt, although it was cold. Restaurant let me take a full menu back to the room as the info book in the room had a limited menu, I confirmed with the restaurant that all items were available for room service. The pool area looked nice. My friend and I got into the hot tub and we could only stay in for a short time as our skin started to feel itchy. Once back at the room our skin started to feel like it was burring so we had a shower right away and ended up with chemical burns from the hot tub and my friend had to throw her swim suit away since it was totally discolored. I reported this to the front desk that we had chemical burns and that the PH level in the hot tub desperately needs to be checked. I only received a thank you, we will check into this. No offer for compensation or apology at all. There was a soccer tournament in town for kids around high school age, even though there was a lot of activity going on from the teenagers, we did not hear anything from our room. Pay Per View movies were over priced at $11 per movie (yikes) If they lowered the price, I am sure people would be willing to order more movies. Four days later I have tiny scabs from where the hot tub chemicals came in contact with my skin. Not very happy with this hotel and I would be very hesitant to go back. ”
