• Not much.
• Gave away a confirmed reservation and I am in the streets!

“I just arrived in from out of town on a late flight. I had a confirmed reservation and the staff at this hotel sold my room before I arrived. What is the use of having a confirmed reservation for late arrival??? I am sitting in the lobby while they find me another room at another hotel and they are not having much luck. I would not recommend this hotel at all in the future. Cranky and tired because of incompetence

• Large room, great value.
• Location not the best.

“Room was far larger than we had expected. I have lived in smaller apartments. Check in was slow, but staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Great value.”

• The overall quality in general was excellent. The size of the suite was huge (approx 660 sq ft) as it was converted from an apartment building.
• Very, very, minor. Upon checkout, the staff person would not provide me a "zero" balance receipt when I requested. No big deal in the big picture.

“Great location in downtown Calgary. The furnishings in the suite and bathroom were top quality and the amenities (alcohol, munchies, etc) provided for a cost were diversified and plentiful. The beds were firm, just the way I like them, and not soft and worn out as in some hotels I have stayed in. The suite was exceptionally clean and it was very quiet. Since the suites were converted from apartments to hotel suites, they are very large (approx 660 sq ft). I stayed at another hotel the following night, the Calgary Marriott, but after staying at the International Hotel, I was very spoiled because of the size (the Marriott was a standard hotel room size of approx 270 sq ft). In my opinion, the International Hotel should be rated 3.5 star vice 3 star.”

• Nothing
• The furniture in the room was broken. When the fridge is opened, the door comes out of the hinges. The towels did not appear to be clean.

“The toiltetries were of sub-standard quality. My wife who used the shampoo was very dissatisfied. I have not stayed in such a hotel. ”

• a very good location and spacious rooms.
• A little bit pricey. local calls are not free so as the internet.

“It is located in the heart of downtown Calgary. It offers you suites for the price of a room. Staff are friendly. I wish they make the local calls and the internet free of charge.”
