• The staff was great!

• Good location to highway and downtown.
• No candy machine.

“The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. It's a good clean place to spend a night. There was a couch in the room so we did not have to sit on the bed to watch TV. We were close to the highway and only ten minutes from the downtown area.”

“Attended in Windsor to attend the Canadian Slo-Pitch championships and required good economical accommodation. We will try this again on our travels to Florida this winter. Good job.”

• Staff was professional and hotel was clean.
• Multimedia "stand" was of poor quality. No internet/wireless connection.

“I'd stay here again, but would want a room with internet access, or at least better sound on the TV/radio products. Staff made positive impression, and the hotel was clean. Put against the money I paid, it was a decent deal.”

• The hotel was quiet with little outside noise interference.
• It was too far from restaurants. We anticipated this but were still a little surprised.

“This hotel is perfect for someone who needs a place to lay their head. It's a little off the beaten path, so you won't be bothered by the night life of Windsor. The flip side of that is that if you want to have dinner at 10 PM like we did, it's extremely difficult to find a place close by.”

“I mistakenly drank what I thought was complimentary bottled water and the owner tried to charge me 2.99 for it (but she did not). For this reason I will never frequent another Comfort Inn. There is no reason to leave a stupid bottle of water on the table unless you expect someone to drink it. The price of the water was not immediately known until the next day when I actually read the "fine print" of the cost. I have traveled extensively throughout my life and have never met such an rude and unaccommodating front desk clerk in all my travels. she clearly needs to find another profession.”

• Very clean, large rooms, wonderful continental breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
• Location is off the freeway very far away from downtown, nightlife, etc.

“I decided to go to Windsor alone for a rest and relaxation weekend. I booked the hotel and when I saw it on the map, realized it was very much off the beaten path of where Americans go when they visit Windsor. It is off of the expressway and more than a 15 min. Drive to downtown, nightlife, etc. Location aside, this hotel was the nicest comfort inn I have ever visited. It was immaculately clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the free continental breakfast was way more than you would expect: juices, cereals, waffles, oatmeal, boiled eggs, coffees and teas, fresh muffins. Delicious! Daily newspapers are free. The rooms are large and suitable for business travelers, too. Free wife, except the signal kept dropping in my room. Other than the location situation, this hotel is top notch.”

• The Breakfast.
• Location - this place was not in Windsor as was advertised.

“This place was more like 4 to 5 miles from downtown Windsor and was in a suburb NOT in Windsor. The hotel website took you to a different Comfort Inn that was in Windsor and close to downtown. ”

• Clean hotel & friendly staff.
• Other patrons arriving very late (4am)& very loud. Needs better sound proofing.

“I had a pleasant stay at this hotel except the fact that there were groups of people roaming the hallway early in the morning (4am & 6am). They were loud & rowdy. My needed sleep was disturbed.”

“The Comfort Inn Windsor is conveniently located on Dougall Ave. just off the EC Row Expressway, just minutes away from the tunnel, bridge, and casino. The room was clean, no complaints there, but the one problem was that breakfast was served in a very small room, which made for a tight squeeze when more than 2 people were in there selecting their items. ”

“The bed was very comfortable and the room was replete with coffee maker, iron, hair dryer, etc. It was a bit of a drive from downtown Windsor, but all in all it was ok.”
