• Cheap, was upgraded, clean, comfy bed, easy room access.
• No pool.

“Good location, except will cost 15-20 bucks one way for a taxi to the casino if you plan on drinking. Easy access to shopping and food though.”

• It was cheap.
• Not that close to downtown Windsor.

“The hotel was okay we didn't spend much time in it, too far from downtown so our cab ride was kind of expensive, hotel staff was nice.”

• Location, easy going staff, free phone calls.
• It was just too worn and too many open hotel doors of beer drinking patrons.

“This is not a hotel I would recommend for families with children. I do not know enough about star levels, but all I can say is that where I am right now, a 2 1'2 star Marriott Courtyard is another world away from this place - not a half star!”

• I liked that the hotel had free wireless internet.
• The bed was not made properly when we first arrived.

“The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a breakfast type restaurant attached to the hotel. I stayed on the bottom floor. These rooms had sliding glass doors to the outside so we could park our car right outside the room to unload are bags. This also let in plenty of light. The free wireless internet was a plus too! It is definitely worth the money.”

• Close to the Embassador Bridge.
• Staff, especially the manager, horrible experience.

“After staying 3 nights, we called the manager from the room around 10am to extend our stay. Never go to that hotel again. The manager and his staff were very very rude and he said he never told me anything about extension over the phone? Liar.”

• The room was very clean, and the comforter on the bed looked like new.
• The heater in the room was difficult to figure out.

• Free Parking.
• No heat and no offer to make amend the next day.

“There was almost no heat when we returned to the room after midnight. We went to bed in a room that had a temperature of about 50 Degrees F. Outside temps were in the single digits. So perhaps that was part of the problem. Upon checkout the girl said she would have moved us if we had called last night. No offer of free breakfast or another night.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• Nothing to complain about.

“This is a good hotel in a great location, close to shops, other hotels, and bridge to US. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Left the "do not disturb" sign on our door, but the housekeeping left a bag of clean towels by our door. The shower was hot and strong and they even provided shampoo, which we had forgotten. The wireless internet worked perfectly.”

• Good price, nice breakfast at attached Golden Griddle restaurant.
• It would have been nice to be closer to town. It is even a bit of a hike to the bridge.

“Good place to stay if you are on way to Ambassador Bridge and want to avoid going into Windsor. Restaurant, which is attached to motel, had excellent breakfast buffet as well as menu selections. Comfortable beds. To get to the casino you have to drive. Convenient to the University of Windsor.”

• It did have decent security.
• The hotel was almost empty. My room was on the second floor.

“This hotel it not really what I was expecting. I thought this was the Comfort Inn by the Casino Windsor. This hotel is out of the way for casino guests. Not a bad experience, just inconvenient.”

• bed, washroom, staff, quiet off Huron Church Rd.
• Cable TV had limited choices.

“Neat and comfortable with nice rooms that open to the interior lobby, with free parking and is a relatively quiet hotel located on the 24 hour, non-stop, truck riddled Huron Church Rd- compared to EconoLodge or other hotels on Huron Church the room is insulated from the traffic.”

• It was very comfortable and very quiet.
• It was a little farther from the casino than I would have liked.

“Good, clean, comfortable hotel with the usual chain hotel amenities. Not very busy or full for an off-peak Friday, but staff still attentive and courteous. Good value for a low price. A little far from the casino, but better to save the money and drive there than pay $50 more for a comparable room.”

• No continental breakfast. Needs swimming pool, sheets were itchy, poor customer service from all except one lady.
• Finance needed stitches in his head from cutting himself on shower sharp edges on our departure day.

“This hotel might be good for someone on business. or a truck driver needing to shower and leave. Not a family place. Despite all my bad experiences they had a 24 hour restaurant attached to the hotel that had good food and drinks that you could take back to the room to get crump (drunk). Oh yeah they responded fast to the cut and offered a ambulance but, Canadian hospitals don't take people w/out insurance so we had to refuse and leave to Detroit for stitches. Oh yeah we paid for the hotel 4weeks in advance but the day before we left they charged my credit card about 30.00 and we did not purchase any movies or buy anything. except for food and drinks we ate and paid cash for in the restaurant.”

• Hospitality, courtesy, amenities and convenience are top notch.
• Nothing, no complaints at all.

“Desk staff helpful and knowledgeable, warm and friendly. Rooms very good value for the price. Location is superb, near good dining and local shops. Casinos are nearby for added fun. This hotel rates five stars in my book. Highly recommend, and thank you.”
