“The residence inn Marriott is a very good hotel. You get what you pay for. It's great for groups and family that want to save money by cooking in your hotel without the extra cost of staying in a condo or time share. Great stay.”

  • After checking in, a hostess informed us of things to do and was extremely helpful and informative. They even made a Tree Trek reservation for us.
  • The directions to the hotel were not as clear as they should have been, so we had trouble finding it.

“We got everything we wanted in this hotel stay. We wanted to be away from the downtown area, closer to the mountain since we don't ski. Our room on the 3rd floor had a balcony at ground level because of the slant of the mountain. The studio room was small, but it had a fireplace and couch and was perfect for only 2 people. We'd like to go back again and do the Tree Trek zip-lining. They have four lines but are adding 4 more. It was also cool to see them building the 4 man bobsled race track for the upcoming winter Olympics in 2010.”

“We ended up staying 2 additional days because we liked the location and this hotel so much.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Very good for the price, frindly staff, clean and nice
  • Far from village center and parking cost 10$/day

“Good hotel for the the price. For Whistler: Very good for the summer if you don't care using a car for going around. In ski season: you better check.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[2]

  • excellent service and staff
  • difficult location for summertime, I am sure it's great during winter

“Nicest staff I have ever experienced during my many, many stays in Whistler, BC.Great room and nice balcony.Location was a little difficult, because we had heavy mountain bikes to hurl uphill.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[7] • Location:[3]

  • Beautiful and reasonable!
  • Too far from EVERYTHING, car req'd or expect $10 cabs each way

“Beautiful rooms, clean and well appointed. However, expect to pay $10 each way for cab fare. Not a great in and out location unless you have a car. Excellent place to "hole up for winter".”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[5]

  • In ski season, it is right on Blackcomb, a fair way up the hill.
  • it is a fair drive from the village - 5 or 10 minutes, so you need a car or are dependent on the bus

“I loved the hotel and the room was beautiful. beautiful view, great facilities, I didn't want to leave! No Jacuzzi or laundry in the room, but it had everything else, and I was very happy with the stay.”

  • The staff was very helpful and courteous
  • The breakfast area could have been better staffed

“Great location. Rental staff was great. Breakfast area could have been better staffed and the food items could have been more varied.”

“The hotel and grounds were great in every aspect. My only reservation was being placed on the ground floor facing the mountain and trees, affording virtually no view.”

“I think the parking rates really need to connected to the price of the hotel. There was no place park other then the hotel. Overall the hotel was nice and it had a full kitchen it bit far away from the mail part of the Resort.”
