“I have never had a problem, but this hotel is most definitely not the kind of hotel I expect to. Our room was horrible. For $ I expect to at least be comfortable in the room. We were on a trip of a lifetime and this room/hotel experience reduced me to tears. The room smelled horrible, the comforter was filthy, there were holes burned in the blanket and the wallpaper was peeling, the remote control for the TV was literally falling apart, the walls were paper thin. We heard the guy next to us coughing all night! On top of it we had no control of the heat/air. We literally froze and finally at 11:00 PM we called the front desk telling them we couldn't figure out how to control the air/heat, only to find out that they controlled the air/heat for the whole building. We froze the entire night.”

“Nice hotel in nice and safe area. Mini mall is just 5 minutes walking and you can buy many thinks there (food, drugstore, liquor store). Every Saturday hotel offering Salsa party for $10 (until 2 am) and in the basement you can experience hotel night club with more club style. VERY FRIENDLY and clean hotel.”

“I was not at all impressed with the hotel rooms. Things like shower mat were missing. The sheets were not that clean either. They did not meet the expectation for the price I paid.”

“The room is too small, no refrigerator, and no free internet.”

“This was a dreary place. The room was clean and not bad, though more cramped than most. The location is on busy streets with no grounds or even bushes. Side doors were locked and then eventually propped open. Everything in the hotel outside the room felt cramped and tatty, bread crusts on the elevator floor, and heavy deodorizing floral scent in the hallways (though the hall carpet looked new). The lobby was dinky. Although there was apparently a restaurant, I never saw a sign to direct me to it. I felt sorry for this place, but not enough to go back”

“The room was pretty small and cramped but I feel like I got what I paid for. The decor in the lobby was extremely tacky, but I loved it. I stayed there on new years eve with a group of friends and everyone else there seemed to be partying so no one bothered us for being loud, however I doubt it's usually that way.”

“We used to stay in this place before in our travel through be and let me tell you, it went from fare to worth over the year. Good location to access city's attractions and fare prices - might be a bonus, but overall experience made me reconsider my future hotel accommodations.”

“The worst of the experiences I've had. The TV did not work and was not fixed on request. When anyone used the shower a loud whine disturbed us. It was old fashioned, a small room and only barely met my needs as a business traveler.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

“Public transportation was important on this trip. A short walk to the B-line to UBC, buses downtown frequent. Unfortunately, both trips were a little long. I should have stayed near Robson downtown. The staff was friendly, but security in the lobby Amenities at Biltmore Hotel, Vancouver
