• The manager was very pleasant and courteous.
• It was hard to control the heat in the room and there is no microwave in the room.

“Location is in Pickering. Hotel is easy to find. The staff is very pleasant. The heat in our room could not be adequately controlled and there was no microwave.”

• The price and we got a smoking room.
• The
  TV was small and we could not hook up our
  DVD player to it. Very disappointing.

“This hotel allows smoking but you could not smell that in the hallways. There are few smoking rooms and they are way in the back. The room had a fridge and microwave which was nice. The TV was small and we could not hook up our DVD player to it. Very disappointing.”

• All the staff was nice.
• The place is a little outdated.

“Overall, we had a good stay at the Comfort Inn Pickering. staff was extremely nice especially the night receptionists. The room was just ok, a bit outdated and the AC was loud. It was clean though and the breakfast was nice. We had most of the things we needed: hairdryer, iron board, etc. Good for the business traveler.”

• It was extremely clean and the staff was friendly.
• The concierge told us that breakfast ended at 11am, but it actually ended at 10am, so we missed it the first morning.

• Close proximity to family. Easy to find. Comfortable bed. Good TV channel selection.
• Noisy AC, but tolerable.

“The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The TV channel selection was good. The sliding door opens up to the parking lot, but that was useful for loading/unloading bags and can be useful for smokers. Did not try the free continental breakfast or the exercise room.”

• Room had no closet.

“The hotel was great for the price. I went with my parents. We liked it. The complimentary breakfast was ok. Nothing special, usual coffee, tea, juice, toast, bagel, hard-cooked eggs & cereal. There was a big stain on the carpet in the room, but the bed looked clean and there was no smell in the room. The bathroom also looked clean. The shower was good, it had a curved rod for the show curtain, more room for shower. I would stay again if I go back to Toronto.”

• Clean, great location near highway, great service, great prices, overall excellent quality/price.
• No pool, had 2 rooms but only 1 had working fridge and a microwave.

“Me and my friends had a really good time staying there, it was very clean and the service was excellent. The location was great, near the highway, in front of a restaurant, convenient store, near gas station, etc. All that for a tiny cost! Awesome experience, would come back again for sure!”

“Not exactly the hotel that I was hoping. Staff was friendly. But the furnishing of the room is pretty dated. I think if they can just replace the furniture's, change the doors, than the overall experience would have been a lot better.”

• Location close to zoo and fairly priced.
• Hotel room smelled awful and staff was extremely slow.

“It was what you would expect for the price, asked for a non smoking room and two beds. The room smelled something awful and bed was hard, but was clean and the hotel was in close proximity to the zoo.”
