• Free parking and basic continental breakfast.
• Located beside the city mission/homeless shelter.

“ The motel room had been slightly updated but the entire facility didn't appear renovated. Some improvements were in progress. The exterior landscaping is nice, the parking area seems secure and well maintained. However, the bathroom was dated and there was mold and mildew in the tub and shower. This motel provides minimum features for the price. ”

• Excellent location and room came with refrigerator.
• It was very noisy at night.

“I wasn't too happy the first night of our stay. The bed was hard. The pillows were soft. The noise of the other guests hanging out on the balconies kept us up. The room I was in was next to the stairwell and ice machine. Guests coming in and out, ice machine water valve kept turning on every 22 seconds and kept us up. Thank goodness we were too exhausted the next night for these issues to bother us.
Next time we are in Ottawa, I'll spend the extra $40-50 per night for more upgraded accommodations.”

• It was close to downtown and cheap.
• Its has very limited parking at night.

“If you want a cheap place to stay and close to downtown Ottawa then this is the place. But I would most likely spend a few extra dollars and go to the Marriot next time.”

• I liked the fact that it was quiet at night and that there was a fridge, and microwave in the room.
• It wasn't very bright.

“This hotel surpassed the one star. The cleaning staff was pleasant, our room was clean and it was close to the parliament buildings and the downtown area. The desk people were not as friendly as they should have been but were not rude. We stayed 7 nights and there was not a night that we lost sleep because of noisy guests. It was a pleasant stay.”

• The staff was friendly.
• Its old, needs to be redecorated.

“I was surprised that the hotel asked for me to pay for my stay. I hope I havent been double charged for this stay. We'll find out soon when I get my statement from visa. Cheers.”

• It was located a little further then I thought from downtown.

“The hotel is fine, and the staff are fair. Its not anything more then that. Basically you get what you pay for, and this was an affordable stay. However this was a very clean place. I have to admit that this hotel was one of the cleanest I've stayed at.”

• Very small bathroom. Not a lot of shelf space.

• The location was great, on bus line, 10 min. from center, food near by.
• The rooms were dingy.

“For the price and location it is very good for tourists. The staff is friendly and the breakfast had some variety. The hotel was 10 min. from center, on the bus line, and in a very diverse area with lots of different types of restaurants to choose from. It was also easy to get to by car.”

“Overall, nicely run. Friendly staff, clean room, cable, coffee maker, continental breakfast. Would be nice if they had some fruit with breakfast.”

• It was clean included a continental breakfast and was conveniently located.
• Rooms were smaller than expected.

“We were not supplied with coffee cups although a coffee maker was in room. There were only enough towels for one person and there were 3 of us.”
