• I liked the location, was able to walk everywhere with my 5 year old boy.
• I do not speak French.

“I loved it. When I return to Montreal, I will stay in the same hotel, same area. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming.”

• If you like staying at your grandparent's, you will like this.
• It feels like a nursing home.

“The room was way outdated in decor and the decor was very grandma. The only romantic thoughts that surfaced were ones of being in a different hotel. It really was a turn off. The shower head is placed for short people, good for me, bad for my husband. The floor (4th) we were on consistently smelled like the kitchen from the restaurant below. This was not a pleasant thing. Luckily it seemed to stay out in the hall way. On a positive note, the room seemed clean.”

• Breakfast area was too small - too busy.

“I would highly recommend this hotel given its location to Old Montreal, and its ample amenities. The only negative feedback from our kids was that the pool area was very small.”

• Excellent hotel with awesome location right in Old Montreal.
• Loved hotel, but if you are looking for Downtown Montreal this wouldn't be the place. Too far.

“Location was excellent right in Downtown OLD Montreal. Literally you walked out side down a small street and you were in the heart of Old Montreal. Room was very nice and clean, staff was warm and friendly -- bilingual of course which helped since Montreal is definitely French. Bar area/Lounge was beautiful very contemporary. Pool was a little small, but was just fine for our 8 year old. Outside of hotel is deceiving and hidden. Watch out for instructions on directions from Map Quest, they are wrong. Many one way streets and a bit of construction. Was confusing. Best bet; go to the water in Old Montreal (Commerce St. I believe) than go up St. Laurent, take a right and then another right to come down John Baptist where hotel is.”

• Clean rooms, friendly staff, safe secure parking garage on premises, close to Chinatown and Old Montreal.
• Room close to pool and spa-very noisy when full of young children.

“Highly recommend. Clean well appointed rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast included in price (waffles, eggs, cereal etc). Ask for a room not near the pool.”
