  • Convenient location.

“Hotel was overall tidy and professional, but refused to try to accommodate our family with a larger room.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[4] • Location:[10]

  • The lobby appearance was impressive.
  • The rooms are small and the first one we were put in, had a strong stench of smoke.

“We were expecting more when we planned to stay at the Best Western Europe Downtown. We asked for a non-smoking room, and we were put in a room that reeked of smoke, so then we had to be moved to another room which surprisingly seemed small. And during this whole affair we were running late for our concert due to all these inconveniences. The community spaces of this hotel are aesthetic and impressive. But as for accommodations overall there was much left to be desired.”

  • Nothing.

“My husband and I are sauna enthusiasts. We were very impressed with Spa Oranges amenities. Try infrared sauna before massage.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[5] • Location:[9]

  • Proximity to Bell Centre.
  • Room was small, no room for legs when on toilet, no fridge, narrow hallways.

“I was expecting a larger room with the quality and standards that I am accustomed to. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed and no room to sit properly on the toilet, as the bathtub was right there. Due to the size, my boyfriend and I were constantly in each other's way in the room. The water took over 20 minutes to heat up and then was interspersed with cold water. I will never stay at this hotel again. I was very disappointed. It was not worth the money spent.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Staff was very helpful.
  • Walls were paper thin, Hallway smelt like body odder, rooms too small.

“Our stay was short and sweet just for new years to party a bit, so I can't complain about price or sleeping arrangements. I wouldn't recommend this as a place to stay if you are looking for comfort. Rooms are extremely small. I had to put my feet in the bath tub to use the toilet. The hallway smelt of Bodily Odder. The staff was very polite and helpful. Lastly the location is great, its good alternative to sleeping in your car.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[6] • Location:[10]

  • Quiet hotel and decent service, was there only one night but not complaints.

“It was a great location! Right around the corner to Sainte Catherine and where everything was happening!”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • Great location and hassle free.
  • Poor quality television and reception and pay parking.

“I had and enjoyable stay because it was just what I was looking for, not too fancy but very pleasant appearance inside and a great location. Having Coras for dining is excellent.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Location, perfect placement.
  • No shampoo. No visa ATM.

“Stayed for one night for a two hotel stint in Montreal. Next time we will stay two nights at this one despite the price. The placement of this hotel is perfect to just walk anywhere in downtown you want to go. The hotel itself was nice and served its function, you don't go to downtown Montreal on vacation to hang in the hotel. It was a good hotel all around, and my complaints were trivial compared to the overall service.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[6] • Location:[10]

  • Hotel lobby in European style and convenient location.
  • Check-in time delayed.

“The location is convenience, and the lobby is nice like a boutique hotel. The one-bed room is small. The 3pm check-in time was delayed. The phone in the room was not connected until I called the receptionist to connect to make local calls. The services of some receptionists are not in very good. The coffee maker in my room did not work. After calling to the receptionist, the hotel delivered a replaced one quite soon, but it was not clean with coffee mark on it. The housekeeping ladies are friendly.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • In a convenient location to major shopping, attractions and the metro.
  • Parking, although across street, valet would have been appreciated.

“Exceptionally clean, modern facility. Staff helpful and courteous. Room and bath very small, however comfortable.”
