“I stayed there on business Monday night. WHAT A DUMP! My office had booked me into this place. It is in an area that the locals call EOA (East Of Adelaide) This area is down right scary. The Beef Baron next door ( They call it Adult Entertainment) is definitely not a Gentle men's club. Most of the girls "Working" there stay in this hotel. I had to go through 3 rooms before I gave up and accepted the 4th. They all had "issues" ranging from no taps on the faucet in the bathroom, TV not working, Security latch missing half on a door, people in the next room screaming at their crying children. All I want is a clean bed and a TV that works. If I wanted screaming kids I'd stay at home! Joking, my kids don't scream all day! I finally took the 4th room even though it too was run down with comforters with rips in them. By this point I was fed up. I would have walked and found somewhere else but my office had booked it on line and had pre-paid for it. I mentioned it to a client the next day and was told that it is used by the city to put displaced people until they get them in somewhere else. NICE! So if your into rundown hotels with lots of noise in an economically challenged part of town, knock your socks off. Myself, I'll never stay there again. I stayed at the Comfort in by the 401 last time and it was great. It cost about the same too. $69.99 plus taxes. By the way there is really nowhere around to eat. Unless you want to go to as I put it to the front desk. "The steakhouse next door", which I was told it was actually a strip bar. Not exactly the "Strip loin" I was looking for!”

“I went with my boyfriend and 2 other couples. We stayed in the Executive Suites. They were very spacious, however I was disappointed when there was not a Jacuzzi in our room. Apparently only one-third of the suites have them. But the staff was very friendly, they allowed us to check out an hour later at no extra charge. Overall, it was a good and I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. ” Amenities at Econo Lodge London, London
