• The Shuttle service. When they couldnt pick us up they made us take a cab and paid us back.
• There is not much around the hotel but the shuttle would drop you off at nearby restaurant if you ask.

• The staff was extra nice and I was pleasantly impressed with everything about this hotel.
• Nothing negative to write about here.

“My wife and I liked to go on weekend trips. We have been to many hotels in Toronto including the Hyatt, The Marriott here that we stayed at beat the Hyatt hands down. We were very pleased with the friendliness of the staff and also their helpfulness was very genuine. The rooms were big, clean, the hotel itself was kept clean and spotless. The 24 free coffee was an added treat and the breakfast was sufficient enough to start your day. I recommend this hotel to anybody that wanted comfort and cleanliness and to be somewhat pampered. Hats off to this hotel and thank you.”

• The front desk and housekeeping staff was wonderful. They offer a free shuttle to the airport which helps to a cheaper commute to downtown Toronto.
• Does not have a bar or a restaurant for lunch.

“Hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. I would stay here every time I visit Canada.”

• The fire alarm was sounded. Somebody maybe pushed it. It was not really fired.

“Clean,
hotel. The rooms were spacious. The view from the hotel was good as we could see the flights landing at the airport. The breakfast in the morning was good. Good service.”

• Excellent hotel for price.
• Parking was a bit limited and restrictive.

• The air conditioning in my room did not work.

“Everything would have been a perfect 10 about this hotel if only the air conditioner in my room functioned correctly my wife was frustrated of how hot it was in our room.”

• Very clean, very friendly, great beds, sound sleep.
• Can't think of anything.

“This was a great hotel to stay in. We slept like logs - the King bed was extra comfortable and the pull out was also fine. The linens, bathroom, and appliances were all very clean and smelled new. A real treat! Especially for the price. Will definitely stay again!”

• There is wired high-speed internet in every room.
• There are no restaurants or even fast food outlets within walking distance.

“The Fairfield Inn & Suites is very close to the Airport Terminal, probably a 5 minute drive. This hotel is very new (built in 2004) and is 100% smoke-free. There is free high speed internet access in every room (both wired and wireless). I prefer wired since it is much faster. Some additional amenities include free continental breakfast, free local calls and free 24-hour airport shuttle. There is a small fridge and microwave in every room and air conditioning is controlled by a digital thermostat. The Fairfield Inn & Suites is very clean and spacious. The only downsides were that parking costs $10 per day and that there are no restaurants or fast food outlets within walking distance. However, they do have a list of pizza and other restaurants that deliver at the front desk. Overall, I am quite impressed. This is the best 2* hotel I have ever stayed in.”

• The staff are knowledgeable, breakfast was very nice.

“The Fairfield Inn and suites is both convenient and comfortable. Our room was clean and roomy. The breakfast was fast and easy. I will look forward to our next visit to this hotel.”

• The fitness centre could be a bit bigger.

• 10 dollar parking charge for an unplowed rooftop parking lot.

“This hotel charges 10 dollars for parking - equals. I drive a nice truck and the space for it was inadequate. I did not park it on their property. Their parking lot was unplowed and they had underground parking but I didn't bother looking as the price was unacceptable - not recommended to park at this hotel.”

• Clean rooms and lobby, pool, etc.
• The heating and a/c unit is loud when going on and off. Terrible!

“Even when this hotel was almost brand new, the heating/a/c unit is so noisy that I wake up many times during the night. First, the thermostat makes a loud clicking noise that signals the unit to turn on. Then, the unit turns on, and sounds like it is an old airplane for the first few seconds. I noticed that it went on and off every few minutes the whole night. I also read an article that hotel guests are now naming noise as the number one complaint, even above room cleanliness!”
