• The scenery.
• Manager and mice.

“This hotel has mice - one ran across my pillow as I slept the night after we reported seeing a mouse. A mouse has also been seen in the next cabin. Compensation was less than 1/2 the expensive cost of the room and the manager was sarcastic and officious. It is unfortunate that the manager's attitude over road the rest of other pleasant staff members. Despite being in the mountains, it is located between two busy highways (where the trucks use air breaks when descending the steep hill) and a train track. Stay at a B&B in Field instead - less costly and same beautiful scenery.”

• The location is awesome - by a river, surrounded by mountains.
• People using fireplaces/stoves in July.

“Cathedral mt lodge is a good choice for some real R&R. It's in a scenic location within a short drive (< 1 hour) of some of Canada's premier park destinations - lake Louise, emerald lake, moraine lake, and is on the road to takakkaw falls. The cabins had modern facilities with rustic decorations.”

• Location; cabins were beautiful; restaurant was good.
• Staff were officious; very poor Internet connections.

“Although only 15 minutes from Lake Louise, Yoho is much quieter and projects a more remote feeling. Cathedral Mountain Lodge is a great locale from which to explore Yoho or the Lake Louise area. Cabins were very well appointed. Nice feel in the lodge with inviting sitting areas and a roaring fire. Breakfast is included and a nice spread. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. But, be prepared for quiet. there is no TV, Internet, radios, etc. in the cabins.”
