• At first glance, the hotel was very nice looking. Really liked the location.
• Given the wrong room; food still in fridge from previous persons; waited over 30 min for restaurant service.

“I was thoroughly disappointed in the over-all performance of the staff. At check-in, two people were attending to the line up; then one left (break time?) and left their partner alone to deal with the crowd. Very unprofessional and irresponsible. We stood in a line up for almost 25 minutes just to be seen. Then our check in date was incorrect on their computer system. Our room was supposed to have 2 double beds and a couch. It did not have the couch. We had to gather our belongings and move rooms. In the new room, there was still food in the fridge from the previous people. Now we wonder how clean the remaining room was. Our friends checked in a few hours later, with the same food in fridge issues. the room was permanently hot. We needed to have the window open and AC on all night. AC was terribly loud. Breakfast there was a joke! Waited 25min for coffee/tea service. There were 4 kids between our two families, and still no quicker service. I had to walk up and ask for service! By this time we had been there 1 hour. In the midst of all this there were only 4 other tables, and ours, with 9 was their largest. The food came out almost 35-40 min after ordering pancakes and waffles. It was cold and eggs benedict had to be sent back. We were all outraged at the quality of service and food, that sign boasting about a new chef, should serve as an embarrassment to the chef. I will not ever return, and will make sure that my friends steer very far and clear from that atrocity.”

• They are under construction and many of the amenities were not available to use, like the hot tub and steam room.

“The location of this hotel in proximity to the West Edmonton Mall, our purpose for visiting, was wonderful. We had an easy time checking in and out, and each time that we had a question the staff was helpful and courteous. The beds in room were extremely comfortable as they utilize the memory foam toppers; there was no hard bed to sleep on and that made our stay very enjoyable. Although the on site restaurant was overpriced for the food selection that they offered, it was available and open during most of the day, making it easy to find something to eat if you didn't want to travel.”

• Close to the Mall.
• Rooms were gloomy. Staff always busy. Hotel noisy.

“Cheap and reasonable. But there were a lot of trashy people making noise at night. The staff were always busy. It took forever to speak to them. The room was dark and gloomy, and the decor dated. But it was close to the mall and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and anything I asked the staff for was eventually taken care of.”

• The Jacuzzi room was nice.
• There is no security.

“The hotel workers were very nice. The walls were very thin and could here everything in the hallway. Two stalls away from the door our car got broken into. There is no security and would not recommend.”

• I like how big the rooms were.
• I did not like the hot tub not being in the same room as pool.

“The hotel is very nice, good location. The only problem I had were lack of knowledge with the staff, and the pre authorized way my credit card more than once with out permission.”

• Location was good.
• Location of the pool, hot tub.

“This hotel was affordable and the location worked for our needs. There wasn't anything out standing or anything really negative about our accommodations.”

• Close to attractions.
• Restaurant - steak undercooked.

“Everything was okay - nothing either exceptionally good or bad. Staff was very accommodating though we received a substantial discount at the restaurant because of our steaks being undercooked.”
