• It is secluded and has beautiful views. We also enjoyed the pool.
• It did not have their own BBQ stove.

• I liked the geographical location of the hotel, far enough from the city, but close enough to visit.
• There was some obvious general upkeep required of the room, ceiling work, plastering - but did not affect my enjoyment of the stay.

“Tunnel Mountain was perfect for the needs of my stay. It was far enough from downtown Banff that there was still a rustic feel - but it is on a slightly busy roadway, and the positioning of my suite was inconvenient, but did not ruin my stay. Next time I will request a room on the other side of the property away from the road. There is a fantastic view of mountains from any angle, and the fireplace in the unit was a nice bonus. There was obvious upkeep needed to the room - the door to the balcony stuck, and there was some plaster damage on the ceiling in the front bedroom - but nothing that ruined the enjoyment of my trip. The flat screen TV was also a nice bonus. A lot of room and open feeling with the added loft bedroom. I would definitely stay again.”

• The in-room fireplace was a plus
• Parking was difficult, both in configuration and number of spaces

“This hotel was a good choice for our stay in Banff. The staff was friendly and helpful. We chose a standard room which was big enough for 2 (more than 2 would have been crowded). The in-room fireplace was great. We used it both nights of our stay. Parking near our room at the hotel was a challenge. It was especially difficult on Saturday night when there was a wedding at the hotel. We ended up in a "no parking zone". It was either that or park on the main road. The hotel is a short simple drive to downtown Banff. Other than the parking issues, this hotel met all of our needs.”
