“The Europe has the distinct advantage of being located in the heart of Vilnius' Old Town. You can see the Gates of Dawn (Osta Brama) from the hotel. I am impressed right down to my toes with almost everything about the hotel. There were only a couple of small things I didn't really like. First of all, the restaurant, though charming, offered no local specialties. Second, some of the hotel staff I encountered exhibited an unexpected amount of attitude. To be blunt, a couple of the staff were somewhat snobby. I was a little disappointed, especially because most hotel staff I've encountered in Eastern Europe seemed determined to go the extra mile to make me comfortable. On the whole, though, a pleasant experience.”
