• It's in a quiet location, yet within walking distance of the city center.
• The check-in staff was not friendly in the least.

“This hotel is clean with a modern interior in a historical building. The rooms are rather small and unimpressive, but the bed was clean and comfortable. Internet service on hotel computers is free in the lobby; many hotels offer free wireless in the room, but if you're traveling without your laptop, it doesn't help much. The setting is very quiet (a park is directly across the street) but you can easily walk (10 - 15 minutes) to St. Stephen's square. When we first checked in, our receptionist was quite cross when she saw that we had a child and hadn't bothered to let them know that (we didn't know we were supposed to!). I'm sure she didn't smile at us once during our entire stay. I'm happy to say that the wait staff during breakfast was the complete opposite. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because I think you can find a better value for your money in Vienna. We've stayed at two other hotels in the same city, and preferred them by far.”
