“Excellent hotel for those business travelers who need a good night sleep. The shuttle to hotel is 4 pounds one way and sometime you have to wait for it for 30-mins.”

“Good location for arriving/departing London area. Rooms very nice and staff especially helpful. Soundproofing quality of rooms is very good; I couldn't hear any planes taking off or landing.”

“If you need a place to sleep that is convenient to the airport, this is the place. It was extremely frustrating as nothing in the hotel worked. There was no ice machines or soda vending machines. When we tried to order room service, the phone would just ring and ring and ring. We had to call numerous times in order to get in touch with someone. When we called the lobby, they were quite snobby. We were also brought a bottle of coke with broken glass at the rim.”

“A good comfortable hotel with free internet in the lobby and with the convenience of the hotel hopper bus.”

“Old hotel, but decently maintained. Mobile reception is very poor in several parts of the hotel. Internet Lounge (45 Min's free) is good and well equipped with high speed link and computers.”

“Took a long time to get there by the bus which comes on the half hour. The line at the desk to check in was all the way to the front door with two people working the check in who acted like they were on holiday.”

“Sleeping over before connecting flight to the states - a great hotel to spend the night in, comfy rooms, great comfortable bed and staff was very helpful. Reliable shuttle to and from airport (timetables at front desk), very clean facilities. Recommended for business and overnight stays!”

“We were very pleased with our stay at the Sheraton and if we ever return to London, would definitely stay at the hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The bed was so comfortable, room temperature just right, bathroom was lovely and room was spacious.”

“Overall, a great place to stay for a transit through LHR. The hotel is starting to show its age, however.”

“We stayed here the night before and we returned home to the US. By sheer luck, we found that the Thrift rental desk is located in the lobby of the Sheraton Heathrow. Made for an easy return and a free ride to the terminal. Great for a short stay, the lobby is old and needs an overhaul. Many of the rooms were being renovated, but they stopped all construction at night and we had a quiet and relaxed stay in the hotel.”

“For travelers who only need to crash for a night between LHR flights, this hotel is great! There's a free bus that goes within a block of the hotel. If you spend much more, or have high expectations, you're likely to be disappointed. Beware: The hotel is very remote and isolated. Buy some fruit, cheese and a bottle of wine before you arrive.”

“The most redeeming thing about this hotel is its proximity to London Heathrow airport. Room is adequate, shared space could use a major uplift. If you need to stay overnight near Heathrow, I would recommend staying here.”

“Conveniently located, good reception staff, and a clean, light room. However, room service took a long time to provide missing bathroom necessities.”

“The Sheraton Heathrow West Drayton seems targeted toward business travelers. The amenities on non-club level are few and far between. It is in relative proximity to the Sheraton Skyline. The Heathrow West Drayton can be a bit tricky to find as the entrance is unassuming and goes through the convention centre/rental car parking on the far end of the hotel. The hotel room itself was uncomfortable. Though it was near freezing outside, the room was overly warm and the HVAC system was either not working or unable to cool the room down to a comfortable level. Additionally the HVAC controls are situated on a wall which is parallel with the bed and include two very bright LED. The LEDs shine onto the bed, making it impossible to get to sleep. The bed itself is on the firm side, which may further challenge some. The room was clean though there was some mold on the tiles in the bathroom. The decoration was purportedly updated recently, but felt tired and from a preceding decade. The hotel only has double glazed windows and is also located near a flight path - while not deafening, airplane noises are present day and night. Parking is expensive and rough going. Overnight parking £10. The overflow parking was completely filled and cars were left blocking lanes as travelers seemingly scrambled to stop anywhere that remotely resembled a space. If you plan on an evening out, be prepared for no available parking after 22:00. Continuing on with this hotel's policy of seemingly bilking travels by charging for every amenity, internet access charges of £15 per day are simply criminal. Other hotels in the area offer free internet access, this hotel is not recommended for cost conscious and family travelers. Searching for something positive, the hotel front staff was excellent. From desk receptionists to the concierge, the staff was focused, helpful, friendly and seemingly gave you their undivided attention.”
