• Entertainment.
• The price of the sun beds near the pool. Lack of security, noise from neighbors.

“I stayed in the Sol Timor apartments with my husband and two sons last week! We loved the hotel but were horrified to hear of the stabbing in the kiddies disco at the hotel Thursday night! A teenage boy with multiple stab wounds had to make his way from the ground floor up to reception covered in blood to report the stabbing before passing out! I hope to god he survived! That disco has children from the age of seven up to seventeen! There is not enough security, and this should not have happened. We did love the hotel though, it had everything for the children but we were terrified after hearing the news! The hotel's in a perfect location, the staff is lovely and will help with everything, the children's entertainers were second to none but the noise from other apartments was outrageous at times, they really need stricter rules on noise! We would not go back unless they soundproofed the rooms and they got rid of the roaches from the cupboards under the sinks that only emerged in the middle of the night! Had no idea about these four inch roaches until our friends that had left the night before had text to tell us what they had found lurking around their pots and pans while having a last quiet tidy before catching a late night flight, so my husband checked ours and found the same they even smiled for the picks so my advice if your visiting Sol Timor is to keep your pots in the top cupboards and stay with your children in the kiddies disco.”

• excellent location in a fantastic resort. Good happy hour - good value for money.
• Charge for sun beds around the pool.

“We had an excellent time, the hotel was in an excellent position for our needs, very near to restaurants bars and lively nightlife. Will definately be returning and will book through active as I found it such an easy process. As requests can not be guaranteed we were on a very high floor even though I had requested low with 2 of us afraid of heights and 2 who would not use lifts, making a long trek up the stairs! would probably contact the hotel prior to arrival if booking again or choose a nearby hotel with not so many floors. The only difficulty I had was amending our booking after confirming, we had to add someone on and could not amend on the active site. However this was soon all forgotten after several bottles of vino!”
