• The size of the room.
• Dust came out from under bed.

“Very nice stay, helpful staff, - and they let me use their spa for a shower after we checked out (I participated in a run in Stockholm). The room was spacious and nice.”

• Clean, comfortable accommodations, convenient location, friendly helpful staff.
• Hallways stuffy/stifling, food overpriced.

“*August 6th - August 14th, 2008. We tend to keep our expectations low so we are seldom disappointed. Having said that however we found the Stockholm Sheraton to have a comfortable/firm bed as requested, clean rooms and bathroom, good room and cleaning service. The staff was friendly and helpful with our questions and needs. It was all that one should expect in a 5 star hotel. It's convenient location to old town, central station, other shopping and the waterfront makes it more attractive. We recommend it to anyone.”

• Very close to central station.
• No negatives.

“Hotel is located across the street from Central Station which has excellent train service from Airport. It is also within an easy walk from the Old Town area in Gamla Stan. Concierge responded promptly to my questions in advance of visit. Room was large and would easily have accommodated children.”

• It had a nice room for 2 adults and 3 children.
• Nothing.

“Very conveniently located, only 2 blocks from the Stockholm central train station. The large family room had 2 double beds and room for a roll away bed which meant it could accommodate our family, which anyone trying to travel in Europe with a family of 5 knows is rare. The room was on the second floor and had an interior facing window which did not provide good outside light. But more than made up for this as it slept 5 and had a big bathroom. Definitely ok for families!”

• Reception staff inattentive and discourteous, internet access was too limited, ice machines did not work.

“Staff members seemed easily disgruntled, the queue for the reception desk was disorganized and staff didn't pay attention to those who attempted to wait in an orderly manner, ice machines were dysfunctional on all floors, you were charged if you even touched a bottle in the automatic minibar. It just wasn't guest friendly. It didn't rate the four stars and I would not return.”

• Under construction.

“This is likely to be a very nice hotel once the construction is done. Until then I would not stay here. I couldn't get a moment's peace in my room as all I could hear was hammering, sawing, and drilling from 9 am in the morning. The construction was right next to my room, so it sounded as if they were inside. The hotel staff was completely unapologetic about the situation.”

• It was very convenient and centrally located to areas of interest in Stockholm.
• Unfortunately, the remodeling of the hotel did not add to its decor but it is almost over.

• The location was ideal.
• No bellman service from the curb, no coffee maker, no robe, etc. and the Internet service was expensive.

“The Stockholm Sheraton has a nice location. There was no bell service from the cab on either trip, Internet service was expensive, there were no perks like a robe, for instance. There is a dark deserted area of empty shops leading from the parking area and I was charged for items I did not use in the room's mini bar. The hotel I stayed in last year in Stockholm was much more pleasant and visitor friendly.”

• Excellent location, great downstairs bar, extensive breakfast.
• Breakfast was very expensive without option to pay less for small meal.
