• Location.

“Room was small but ok. There is
no parking at this hotel. Neighborhood was
ok but not a vacation spot. The front desk people were nice. The restaurant staff
was nice.”

• I spent one night, that was good for me.
• It seemed run down, but like I said it was good for one night and that's all.

“It's old and seemed dirty on the out side. Clean inside. Seems to have people hanging out in front of the hotel all the time. Felt unsafe.”

• It seemed to have character.
• The staff wasn't helpful.

“We were just staying overnight in between flights so all we needed was a decent place to lay our heads. The staff could have been a little more helpful, but they weren't rude they just didn't care about my problems or issues.”

• Rooms are clean and spacious.
• Few parking spots only, elevator is small and slow.

“Room was spacious and clean. Air conditioner was on and had good comfortable temperature. Surprised by its locality and difficulty in reaching this hotel even with Garmin gps. Parking for only few customers, but staff took care of my car. And took my car out at 5 am as requested.”

• Hair in tub (a lot of hair); Unsafe location.

“This is an older building. Bed was comfortable. Blanket and spread on bed was old and balled up. There was hair (probably ten or more pieces) in the tub/shower. There was even hair in the sink.”

• Area was less than to be desired. No pool. Small room.

“This was an ok hotel for an overnight. Would not want to stay for more than one night. The area was a bit scary.”

• Clean and comfortable; friendly staff.
• Continental breakfast in morning - not adequate food for all patrons; ran our of coffee. We had to go out to another place to have breakfast.

“Generally a good place to spend one night. Friendly, courteous staff. Clean and comfortable rooms, however not modern. Not enough hot water for two people to shower in our room. Free continental breakfast not available to all hotel patrons, as food and coffee had run out by 9am. Room service menu very expensive for quality of hotel.”

• Location to cruise ships was excellent, as well as old San Juan.
• Not much to say about what is wrong?

“This is a very nice hotel, located near the Pan American Cruise terminal. There is a bus stop located right outside that for 50 cents will take you to old San Juan. There are good restaurants near bye as well as one in the lobby. I was very happy with my stay there on this trip and look forward to staying there again. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Only the age keeps this hotel from a higher rating.”

• Not much.
• Musty room, happy to get out.

“Dont eat at the hotel. We waited over 1 hour just to get some bread and when it finally came, there were only 3 pieces for four of us. After an hour and half we finally got our food which was cold and overdone. Where else can you get lousy food, lousy service for a price of $30 per person without drinks?”

• Hotel personnel very responsive in helping visitor if help needed during stay at hotel as well as providing directions to various sites in San Juan.
• I would have liked to have ordered and egg & toast without having to pay $7.00. Breakfast menu set up in a limiting way in my view.

“I found hotel staff very accommodating and responsive to needs of traveler. Information provided by staff served to be quite helpful in finding way around Puerto Rico. Hotel was clean, pleasant and located where it was easy to get to other places of interest without much inconvenience. The location for me was perfect for me for either getting bus or cab. Also, could appreciate cafe, gym equipment availability, sun deck and washer and dryer within confines of hotel.”

• No real parking.

“Hotel clean, great location, the hotel has no real parking, just some parking spaces and you have to leave your key (car) in the front desk. The owner was gentle to give me her spot in front of the lobby so that was very nice of her. They charged a city tax of $3/day to my 3 yrs old daughter. Weird.”

• Friendly staff.
• Not a great area, rooms were not comparable to what we were told.

“The building next door was vacant with broken out windows. Didn't look safe. No restaurants or entertainment close by, a $20 cab ride was necessary to get anywhere. We were disappointed with the room; it was old, outdated and generally uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this particular hotel.”

• Room inside was nice.
• Only 4 parking spaces for 50 rooms, not an easy walk to old san Juan.

• Construction outside, hard for cabs to get in. Overpriced for quality.

“Basically, the hotel was clean. We found it a little over priced for location and amenities. Staff was helpful and friendly.”
