“This hotel is wonderful! We've stayed at numerous hotels in the DR over the past couple of years and this is the only one that we go back to regularly. It is practically new and clean, if you've stayed in the DR before, this can be a big issue. The staff is friendly and accommodating, & buffet style breakfast is free. The pool is very nice. Wireless internet is available and provides decent speed. They have a spa/beauty shop. Guys hair cuts are US$10 and my wife got a 35 min massage for US$20.Oh! An other thing that we discovered, they have a coin laundry room on the third floor. Very nice for longer stays. The machines take quarters which can be obtained at the front desk. You'll have to go to a super or Colmado to get detergent, though. The only down side is trying to get their. Although the hotel is on the Autopista Las Americas right on the ocean, there is no obvious exit to the hotel and if you pass the small sign right after the toll both you have to drive 25 minutes to get turned around to go back. I know when the hotel was built this wasn't an issue but now it is. So if you're staying here and your arriving from SDQ, watch for the small sign right after the toll booth to make the exit. The hotel is about a mile down the road so it won't seem like the most obvious exit, but it's the only one.”

“The Bar and the Restaurant should be free Nicotine places. The taxis are in badly state and some chauffeurs do not respect their rates.”

“This was the greatest stay so far this year. The hospitality was immensely warm. They looked out for me, they even bent the rules to accommodate me and my friends. The breakfast was nothing like I had every experienced. Instead of the usual continental breakfast I was expecting for the extremely low price (biscuits and coffee) I was paying I was treated everyday to a banquet of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, four egg omelets with whatever I could think of in it. A variety of cheeses, meats, breads, etc. even through the pool closed at 8:00 pm they allowed me and my new wife and party swim till well after 12:00 am. They came out and once they saw it was me they told me to continue, they knew it was my wedding night. Everyone shook my hand right away. Room service "Julio" bent over backward to service us and when I realized there was a charge to my room for something I thought was free. Treshell, the morning front desk clerk, quickly and calmly removed it from my bill. What service. The security was excellent and friendly, one of the guards at the gate shot footage from my video camcorder of me and my new wife. Everyone gave me hugs, the maids went above and beyond their call of duty. I came back one day to my room and found that she neatly placed an extra towel on the sink and positioned our jewelry and bath items onto it, that is what I call service. Fresh flowers, new candles, large fluffy towels on the pool side, what else can a guy ask for. I am so glad I did not choose the Casino downtown. Each morning I would go out and exercise. The lawn was well manicured. The pool was sparkling, if i do not stop here I will write a book, you should send me around the world to all the hotels to check them out . Sincerely, Chris Thomas P.S. Tell them I love them all and will be back for the month of June 2006.”
