• I liked the location and the free shuttle to the airport.
• They are under construction, I went to the pool and it was artic then when I went to sleep there was thumping music till about midnight not cool.

“I spent most of my time in Costa Rica in Very, Very inexpensive hotels/ hostels. I decide to treat myself on my last night and I had a horrible experience so next time I will stay at a $10.00 hostel with a free shuttle to the airport and have peace and quiet.”

• Room was large and clean excellent staff.
• Nothing.

“Excellent hotel, safe and secure outside san Jose, friendly staff. English speaking staff is wonderful. A great place to stay!”

• The food server, Marcia, in the breakfast dining room was very friendly and courteous.
• The rooms and the fact that there was an additional charge after you consumed 1 bag of coffee. Very petty.

“This hotel has the same rating as the Barcelo Palacio, which is located in the same immediate area, and is no comparison. The service, room accommodations, and staff professionalism are far superior at the former. I would only stay at Trip if any of the other major hotels were unavailable.”
