“Great hotel with a wonderful shuttle (more like a bus) to a stop near the Vatican. No standing room though. Everyone was kind and the room was fantastic.”

• The service and the hotel room were wonderful.
• Not as close to Rome attractions as you would expect. Shuttle service needs to improve.

“The room was much larger than you expect when traveling to Europe and the special bathroom touches (mini-shaving kit, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) were a higher level than expected. The employees (except in the Dining room) went out of their way to help us foreigners! Only thing I would suggest is a more extensive shuttle service since the hotel is a bit away from Rome attractions/business centers.”

• Helpful staff most were very fluent in English.
• It is located some distance from the old city of Rome. Cab fare was a little expensive to get into town and nothing is within walking distance.

“Modern and comfortable place to stay. Restaurant is very good and staff is friendly and helpful. They seemed to have good conference facilities based on the comments of some other guests. The only negative is this hotel is proximity to the tourist attractions. We were adventurous enough to walk a couple of blocks and take a city bus to connect with the subway, then a taxi in order to get into town.”

• Beautiful, elegant, and the bellman is exceptional
• It may not be as convenient to the city center as some expect.

• The hotel had a regularly-running shuttle that took us into Vatican City and into the center of Rome.
• It's somewhat inconveniently located -- you need a car to reach the hotel.

“Lovely hotel, good restaurant. Room was clean. Free shuttle was convenient for taking us into Rome and back -- making up for the inconvenient location of the hotel.”
