• We loved the service. The staff is very friendly & accommodating.
• The bathroom is kind of far from the pool and beach, they should have more bathrooms.

“My husband & I were extremely happy with the W Hotel. We had "island view" which overlooks the construction site & partial ocean. Overall, the staff is exceptional. They all spoil you and go out of their way to please you from the towel attendants to the bell boys. They are all super attentive to your needs. The rooms are very clean and maybe a little simpler than what you would expect from other W hotels. If I had to complain about something, it would be something minor. The towels looked kind of old, since they are white. We had an amazing time at the W Hotel and would highly recommend it to all our friends.”

• The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean.
• There was nothing that I did not like.

“The staff was so friendly, the pool was nice, and it was right on Palm Beach. Parking was free. The maids were great. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.”

• Loved the heavenly bed as well as the extremely friendly staff.
• Drinks at the beach bar were watered down.

“This was a wonderful hotel right on Palm Beach in Aruba. The service was incredible and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. We loved our stay here and would love to stay here again.”

• The pool needs renovation, cracks in a few places.

“This was a great hotel for our last 3 nights in Aruba. The comfort in the room was amazing, the activities were well planned out and kids had fun, the drinks at the pool area were reasonably priced and very delicious -- overall we had a fabulous time at the Westin Aruba resort. The only item we had was that the pool needs some renovation to it (noticed cracks/tiles missing) but other than that it was perfect.”

• The decor was lovely, the room attendants unnoticeable.
• Nothing.

“It was great, from check in to check out. They had our info gave us the room key and info within 2 minutes. Check out even simpler. Bathroom needs an update, but not bad. Everything very clean and we never saw the maid. View from the room was beautiful, pool and ocean couldn't be better.”

• Nice hotel, descent location.
• Condition of bathroom could be improved.

“Overall a descent hotel and location however the recent remodeling would have been greatly improved with just slightly more detail given to the upgrade. Details such as caulking of tiles around bathtub were done so poorly it gives a feeling of uncleanness. Shower must be ran slowly or forced to stand in drain water.”

• Upscale decor. Italian restaurant was particularly good.
• Too few elevators - annoyingly long wait at times.

“General impression of hotel is positive with upscale decor and feels mostly new. However in some details shows age - such as doors not closing properly and other small parts that the apparent renovation did not touch. Staff friendly but not all well trained - had issues in one restaurant with responsiveness and doorman ineffective in handling line of people waiting for taxis. Pool and pool area seem old and not up to same level of finish and features as interior of hotel.”

• Concierge, Front Desk, Maid service. Everyone was attentive and gave one to one service. Never rushed or made to feel a burden.
• The Date Palm Bus and the Hertz Desk. The service was like being in the United staes, horrible! The pool was a little shabby.

“Zerena, Tecla, Angie and Aida were exemplary in their service and kindness. The pool staff were kind and attentive. The room was spacious and quiet. The balcony was spacious. They could make a policy of being more Gay Friendly. I would like to recommend my gay friends to visit if that were changed.”

“The Westin Aruba is a great location and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to return. I read some reviews on Trip Advisor which worried me at first but after staying there I feel that this is a first class place to stay. I can't wait to go back.”

• Everyone was courteous and willing to help.
• Confusion about tipping. Since I didn't know what to do, I found myself being constantly nickled and dimed.

“Well appointed. Courteous staff that went the extra mile to help. Clean rooms. A balcony for everyone. Room service at night.”

• We had a delivery dock view from our room.

• The hotel staff was excellent.
• Rooms could have been a bit cleaner.

“We enjoyed the stay, the staff was excellent and very attentive and helpful. The beach was very nice and clean, we did not eat there so cannot comment on the food. Would stay there again with no hesitation.”

• The pool area and grounds. Fitness center was also very nice.
• Approach to hotel and parking creates poor first impression further reinforced by our initial interaction with a rude bellhop.

• Comfortable beds.
• Maintenance items. Phone didn't work in room, toilet ran.

“Extremely average. Parking area is cramped. Didn't use valet service but can take 20 minutes to get car out. Breakfast buffet is best value. Large flat screen TVs; however reception has a lot of static. ESPN2, but no ESPN? Cable package is lacking for 4 stars. No water fountains to be found. Japanese Restaurant best value and service. Italian Restaurant service is brutally slow even for Aruba.”
