The Hotel del Centro has opened recently and it is situated in the old town centre of Palermo very close to the most important monuments, such as The Cathedral, The Massimo Theatre, The Vucciria Market and so on ; moreover it is only 100 metres away from the Central Station of Palermo ,in the neighbourhood of which there are the arrivals and departures of the buses for the airport and the whole Sicily.You can easily get to the Hotel del Centro from the Port of Palermo ,which is about 1 Km away from the hotel.Very close to the Hotel del Centro there are the Botanical Garden ,which is rich in tropical plants, the wonderful promenade of Palermo named Foro Italico and The Spasimo , an Arabian-Normann building which is now the centre of important cultural events.Staying at the Hotel del Centro ,you will be able to walk through Palermo and you will enjoy the atmosphere and the folklore of the popular markets of the city.The Hotel del Centro ,which is in a suggestive period building, is very confortable.There are rooms with bath, shower,hanger and hair-drier , tv, air conditioning and skilled workers at your complete disposal .In the hotel you will find a bar with a breakfast room,a conference room for 50 people,internet point and a paying car parking[less]

Good size room. Ideal location for station
Positioned next to reception, noise level very high from guests receiving keys etc & Telephone.

“Request made for a quite room on higher floor totally ignored by booking agent or hotel. We could not have had a worse positioned room in the whole hotel. Do not book room number 10 or 11 make it clear on your booking request. The hotel is perfect for a l”

-Central, clean.
Experience undermined by bad weather!
Traffic noise, lack of natural light. Staff variable in their approach. Not ideal when weather was very wet.

“Ideal hotel for younger travellers. Even at very reasonable price it lacked a sense of service. Very functional approach by staff.
Not able to pour ones own milk a bit strange!
I would like to have known that it was a shared building. It lacked a sense of a focal point.
This would have been fine for our kids”

Central location. Pleasant staff. Nice room and shower-room.
Breakfast: juice too weak; bread not very good.
