• The rooms, pools.
• Had two bad experiences with staff.

“I like the hotels; I upgraded to a larger room with them, and moved across the street. That other room was not clean when we checked into it, and the whole experience dealing with housekeeping was my worse traveling experience in years. Also first front desk woman was a pain. The housekeeping manger was out of this world, rude.”

• Because of this hotels association with Villa Los Arcos Hotel, we had access to a nicer pool and the beach.
• No windows that you could look out of from your hotel room.

“This hotel was a tremendous value for our money. If you do not mind the short walk a half a block away to the Villa Los Arcos for a bigger pool, restaurant and the beach. Only a few of the standard rooms seemed to have a window that you could look out of. And even in those rooms the views were not much to look at, but you may want to insist on a window that opens if you like a breeze or the fresh air. The rooms were a little musty, but what isn't at the beach. It was not a problem for us. We had a wonderful vacation at the Casa Dona Suzzane.”

• Great Air Conditioning and TV.
• Food and Internet overpriced.

“This hotel was very clean and AC was very good. The only problem was one day that the water was on and off; but water was fine the other 13 days. I like the security, pool and free in-room safe.”

• Staff.
• Beds are horrible, I only stayed one day (as scheduled).

“The staff are great and it is located close to the beach, many restaurants and shops so everything you need is close by. Other than the horrible beds, which felt more like box springs, the hotel has charm. They have a roof top pool which was secluded and not very busy so at night the poolside view was great. This is a small hotel which was part of it's charm.”

• Quiet and in a good location.
• Slight musty smell for first day and the windows don't open.

“Convenient location: close to the beach, good restaurants yet not on the main street so fairly quiet. Small, clean room. Helpful staff. Great sunbathing and pool on third floor.”

• Hotel atrium was nicely decorated for Christmas.
• Room was extremely small, very old fashioned and not really clean.

“The location was great, but the room left a lot to be desired. The room was extremely small with very antiquated amenities. The bathroom was not clean, super tiny and was very old with lots of old accumulated dirt around all the moldings and corners of the room - no water pressure. The sink barely dribbled water and you can forget about taking a shower!”

• Nice cultural environment.
• Way too far high in the corner far end.

“My air conditioner began to drip with water about 1:00am in the morning and the people came to fix it and I waited about 40 minutes. and was not offered to move to another room.”

• Air conditioning was great.
• Lounge Chairs by pool on roof could use a cleaning.

“The hotel was at a great location. Plus you get to use the hotel Playa Los Arcos which is right by the beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.”

• It was mostly quiet.
• They didn't make up the rooms until after 4PM.

“We thought we were going to stay on Los Arcos on the beach and we initially disappointed. However, we heard that that location was quiet noisy so were please with our location.”

• Location was great. Several things within walking distance.
• Did not get room we reserved. Not sure what the extra charges were for.

“Los Arcos Vallarta was a pleasant surprise. We were traveling with another couple and had requested rooms next to each other with balconies. We were on different floors and we did not get a balcony, but were told to check back the next day and they would see if they could move us. We did not change rooms because we found that our room was considerably larger than the room our friends had with a balcony. I understand the corner balcony rooms were larger, but their room was in the middle. Even with that, they were very clean. Our room had a small kitchenette area with a refrigerator, hot plate, toaster and coffee pot. We ate out and enjoyed the cuisine of the area restaurants, but if we had stayed longer, it would be nice for a quick breakfast in the room. We used the beach facilities at Playa Los Arcos across the street. The hotel supplied lounge chairs, beach umbrellas and small tables for use on the beach on a first come first serve
