“Overall, it's OK. The staff are really nice and very helpful when you need something. All of them speak English enough to understand you. The rooms were not great at all. The beds were hard as rock, the toilet flushed only half the time, it took a good 5-10 minutes to figure out how to get some hot water in the shower; no bath. One of the chairs was broken, the patio door barley even shut let alone locked. The maids, when they came, were good. More then once did we put the sign on the door for the maid to come in and clean before we left did we come back only to find out someone had turned it to "Do not disturb" and so it wasn't cleaned. The food was alright, my two girls weren't that happy about it but it was alright. During the afternoon, you can go to the swim up bar and get a burger or hot dog which was nice. The beach was really nice. There was always chairs open and the water was very nice. Like a bath. There is a bar there as well where you can drinks and food. The only down side to the beach is the fact that men and women are always coming up to you, asking you to buy from them. Necklaces, tattoos, you name it, they sell it, for a lot of money. As for the pool, well, I think we went it 2 times through out our 8 day trip. We went to the beach more often. The pool was always dirty - leaves, bugs, plastic cups, straws. ”

“People were courteous and helpful. The lobby looked good and there was a bus stop right outside to go wherever you want. But the rooms were very old and run down. It had a musty smell and I really wished I had a candle or room freshener. The bathroom had a bidet, a toilet and a dug out hole in the floor to act as a tub. It looked quaint but it was not good. The tiles were dark and chipped and soap did not come out from the big soap dispenser they had. Would definitely not want to sit in the "bath tub" for the bed, they put a concrete slab and put a mattress on it. They then nailed a headboard to the wall to make it look like a bed. The bed was comfortable but hard. Definitely a 2 star hotel. I would not have stayed there nor will stay there again as I want more comfort.”

“Hacienda Hotel is rated 4 stars and I think 4 stars hotel is too high for this kind of hotel, it should be rated about 21/2 stars.”

“We had an amazing vacation, but thought that for spring breakers, it was more of a family orientexd environment.”
